Nov 29 2016 00:04

so what is the point of<style>
h2 {color: blue;}
</style>

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>

when you can just do <h2 "color: red">CatPhotoApp</h2>
Igor Rubezic
@Rubiani
Nov 29 2016 00:05
@scoldin with tag style you put CSS directly in HTML
scoldin
@scoldin
Nov 29 2016 00:05
sorry im new and confused
Jan
@burning-monk
Nov 29 2016 00:05
@scoldin it is seperating style and structure
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
Nov 29 2016 00:05
@scoldin inline styles are generally not a good idea, as it takes precedence over styles in your own html as well as styles defined in external stylesheets
Igor Rubezic
@Rubiani
Nov 29 2016 00:05
@scoldin when you <style> you can write there whole CSS

these where the instructions in case you forgot
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
Nov 29 2016 00:35
@GodKingShogun your step 1 was fine, in step 2, you do arr.shift() but you need to return what you get from doing this, not item
David Amanze
@GodKingShogun
Nov 29 2016 00:36
Write a function nextInLine which takes an array (arr) and a number (item) as arguments. Add the number to the end of the array, then remove the first element of array. The nextInLine function should then return the element that was removed.

@vroman2 so, in here

@sktipwr what does it say?

@iiRosie1
Nov 29 2016 01:01

@fzamora18 The way to give more than one class to an element is like this: (with an h1)

<h1 class="class-one class-two">This is an h1</h1>

So there I have the classes class-one and class-two. So the way to separate each class is by a space

// Example
var ourArray = [1,2,3];
var removedFromOurArray = ourArray.pop();
// removedFromOurArray now equals 3, and ourArray now equals [1,2]

// Setup
var myArray = [["John", 23], ["cat", 2]];

// Only change code below this line.
var removedFromMyArray;
myArray.pop();
removedFromArray=myArray[1];

myArray should only contain [["John", 23]].
Use pop() on myArray
removedFromMyArray should only contain ["cat", 2].

Hey, guys, it has been a couple of weeks since I have been able to code. I need a little help. I am trying to Create a Custom Heading and forgot a few things. Here are the directions: "Nest your first image and your h2 element within a single <div class="row"> element. Nest your h2 element within a <div class="col-xs-8"> and your image in a <div class="col-xs-4"> so that they are on the same line." Could anyone please help?

Inside the same <style> tag that contains your red-text class, create an entry for p elements and set the font-size to 16 pixels (16px).

Note
Due to browser implementation differences, you may need to be at 100% zoom to pass the tests on this challenge.
