FCC is using bootstrap3 in its curriculum i guess. But in some challenges bootstrap's text-primaryclass attribute is being used which i cudnt found in bootstrap3 documentation , but i find it in bootstrap4 alpha released.
how should i reconcile it?

The h2 element you enter will create an h2 element on the website.

This element tells the browser about the structure of your website. h1 elements are often used for main headings, while h2 elements are generally used for subheadings. There are also h3, h4, h5 and h6 elements to indicate different and new sections.

Add an h2 tag that says "CatPhotoApp" to create a second HTML element below your "Hello World" h1 element. @evan17gr

I am on the <script> with the following perimeters Use the $("button") selector.
Use the $(".btn") selector.
Use the $("#target1") selector.
Only add one class with each of your three selectors.
Your #target1 element should have the classes animated‚ shake and btn-primary.
Only use jQuery to add these classes to the element.
And this is what I got and it is not right<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
$("button").addClass("animated FadeOut");
$(".btn").addClass("animated shake");
$("#target1").addClass("animated bounce");
});

@AV11D724 first of all, whatever code you add, it goes in the existing document.ready part, sequentially
$(document).ready(function() {
$("button").addClass("animated bounce");

@AV11D724 you shouldn't create another one, like this
$(document).ready(function() { $(".text-primary").addClass("animated shake");

@Boram0206 add the smaller-image class to the img element here -

<img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. ">

look at the h2 element as an example of adding classes to an element

It is set to 100% height, and if the height is too small, my h1's and form slide and collide with other content

Would anyone be willing to look over this code for any obvious syntax errors? I have a solid understanding of Java, but new to JavaScript, and am having trouble with writing the algorithm for checking for a palindrome
function palindrome(str) {
  // Good luck!

  // Remove whitespace
  str = str.replace(/\W/g, '');

  // Convert to lowercase
  str = str.toLowerCase();

  // Convert strings to char arrays
  var forwardArr = str.split('');
  var backwardArr = str.split('');

  backwardArr = backwardArr.reverse();

  var i, j;
  for (i = 0, j = backwardArr.length - 1; i < forwardArr.length && j >= 0; i++, j--) {
    if (forwardArr[i] !== backwardArr[j]) {
      return false;
    }
  }
  return true;
}

palindrome("eye");

You see how we made all of your button elements bounce? We selected them with $("button"), then we added some CSS classes to them with .addClass("animated bounce");.

You just used jQuery's .addClass() function, which allows you to add classes to elements.

First, let's target your div elements with the class well by using the $(".well") selector.

Note that, just like with CSS declarations, you type a . before the class's name.

Then use jQuery's .addClass() function to add the classes animated and shake.

For example, you could make all the elements with the class text-primary shake by adding the following to your document ready function:

$(".text-primary").addClass("animated shake");

Use the jQuery addClass() function to give the classes animated and shake to all your elements with the class well.

this is what they want me to achieve

I tried with body also

Hi
just a question
when I target an element with Jquery, for example animated fadeOut
is that from the Jquery library, or do I need to add some css to get that to work in a real life scenario?
<script>
  $(document).ready(function() {
    $("button").addClass("animated bounce");
    $(".well").addClass("animated shake");
    $("#target3").addClass("animated fadeOut")

  });
</script>
