<a href="#"><img class="img-responsive thick-green-border col-xs-4" src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. "></a></div>
Nest your first image and your h2 element within a single <div class="row"> element. Nest your h2 element within a <div class="col-xs-8"> and your image in a <div class="col-xs-4"> so that they are on the same line.

@krista1950 @coymeetsworld

This is the exercise I’m up to:-

You can set an element's background color with the background-color property.

For example, if you wanted an element's background color to be green, you'd put this within your style element:

.green-background {
background-color: green;
}
Create a class called silver-background with the background-color of silver. Assign this class to your div element.

dots[i].className aka 'dots[i]['className'] is the key. it has a value. That line is changing the value. dots[i].className.replace(" active", ""); A variable might make it easier. var bob = dots[i].className; dots[i].className = bob.replace(" active", "");. is that what you are asking @ivangrozni14

Your h1 element should have the text Hello World.
Make sure your h1 element has a closing tag.
(Give your body element the color property of green.)
(Give your body element the font-family property of Monospace.)
Your h1 element should inherit the font Monospace from your body element.
Your h1 element should inherit the color green from your body element.

i am stuck with a complete brain fart. i need to "Inside the same <style> tag that contains your red-text class, create an entry for p elements and set the font-size to 16 pixels (16px). And do not add a class attribute to the new p element.

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

@tiremon112 you just said it to me:
Since is evaluated from top to bottom, doesn't makes more sense to evaluate <5 fist... so if I pass val=4 I'll have a consistent return...
And then check if it's between 5 and 10.. and so on?
Bardoe Bess
@bardbess
Jan 13 2017 02:13
so you clicke <span class="dot" onclick="currentSlide(3)"></span> and is is suppose to remove any active dots and add add active to the one you clicked on. The idea is you click on a .dot and it is styled differently using the active class, then you click on another any the .active class moves to the new one. so the loop is to remove the active class. @ivangrozni14

@Notch6886 I guess this:

  .smaller-image {
    width: 100px;

Is a pretty good starting point t change the image size

looks good. @Notch6886 is the test asking you to use a specific class name? you dont need the extra class on your img tag if you dont intend on using it.

@bardbess you can tell me
`Add Borders Around your Elements
CSS borders have properties like style, color and width

For example, if we wanted to create a red, 5 pixel border around an HTML element, we could use this class:

<style>
.thin-red-border {
border-color: red;
border-width: 5px;
border-style: solid;
}
</style>
Create a class called thick-green-border that puts a 10-pixel-wide green border with a style of solid around an HTML element, and apply that class to your cat photo.

Remember that you can apply multiple classes to an element by separating each class with a space within its class attribute. For example:

<img class="class1 class2">

Run tests (ctrl + enter)
Reset Help Bug
Your img element should have the class smaller-image.
Your img element should have the class thick-green-border.
Give your image a border width of 10px.
Give your image a border style of solid.
The border around your img element should be green.`

lol
i took the whole page thing on the left xd

:tongue:
