Hey, I currently am working on Give Each Element a Unique ID, I have added an id to each six buttons like this:<button class="btn btn-default target" id="target 1" ></button>
but it keeps saying that none of the Elements has an id, could anyone help me?

@bloodybegginer28 Don't use spaces.
@bloodybegginer28 I'm not sure why you have target as a class. Is that required?

I made two separate margin classes for elements in css, one as a class and one as a id. For some reason, the id class works on one element, but then when I add it again to other elements, it goes to the same margins that I set for the class (not id) that I used initially

@bgarcia57 from what I know so far it doesn't matter the count just insert a space between two classes to show they're different.
"class1 class2"

@bgarcia57 when you have class="..." on your element, you can put as many class names as you want inside the quotes. What the class does depends on your CSS

@villy-k You can use Bootstrap's col-xs-* classes on form elements, too! This way, our radio buttons will be evenly spread out across the page, regardless of how wide the screen resolution is.

Nest all of your radio buttons within a <div class="row"> element. Then nest each of them within a <div class="col-xs-6"> element.

@Sariann that is the idea with classes.. suppose you want to have different kinds of elements and give them all a width of 100px; so you give them all the same class name and then you can style all those elements at the same time.

@villy-k great. Now when you call functions you can also pass in data. But to use that data inside the function you need to set a variable before teh function is called. Lets try.I will make a function below with data passed and used inside
function hello(data){
   console.log(data);
}
hello("hello world");
@villy-k so in this function data represents the string "hello world"

Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld
Feb 11 2017 05:49
@litany42 2 things
your opening p tag at the end isn't completely closed
<p
and you don't want to add font-size to the red-text class
you want to only style the p tags. if you put it in red-text class h2 and only one of the p tags will have that font-size
but you don't want to change the font-size of h2
and you want to style ALL p tags, not just the ones with the red-text class
look at the example they give you, they show you how to style a specific element
litany42
@litany42

hey guys I have a question
now I have a simple JS code
it makes an ajax call when the page is loaded and then updates the html of some elements
after debugging I found out that the code that is responsible for updating the html is executed before the ajax is called
how can I make this code execute after the ajax is called???

so by adding it to the red-text class it's only gonna change the first p

@shanesprague22 its for less code
all the buttons have similar styles, only differ really in color
idk what btn-block is but things like btn-primary and btn-warning or whatever just change color. btn has all the other styles
