It is. Look at this:

You have one opening div tag nested inside of another. You need two div elements like so:

As most often you'll use more than one class.

I have this:

function nextInLine(arr, item) {
  // Your code here

  var ret = arr.shift();
  arr.push(item);

  return ret; // Change this line
}

// Test Setup
var testArr = [1,2,3,4,5];

// Display Code
console.log("Before: " + JSON.stringify(testArr));
console.log(nextInLine(testArr, 6)); // Modify this line to test
console.log("After: " + JSON.stringify(testArr));

I need to do this:
Write a function nextInLine which takes an array (arr) and a number (item) as arguments. Add the number to the end of the array, then remove the first element of array. The nextInLine function should then return the element that was removed.

It throws this error:
nextInLine([], 1) should return 1

Anybody?

I know i did this before but it didnt save

You can set an element's background color with the background-color property.

For example, if you wanted an element's background color to be green, you'd put this within your style element:

.green-background {
background-color: green;
}
Create a class called silver-background with the background-color of silver. Assign this class to your div element.

<p>Click here for <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p
it goes in this line right
ive tried .silver-background {
background-color: silver;
}
in between the <a href in between </a> and i dont remember where i was supposed to put this

function nextInLine(arr, item) {
// your code here

return item; // Change this line
}
//Test Setup
var testArr = [1,2,3,4,5];

//Display Code
console.log("Before: " + JSON.stringify(testArr));
console.log(nextInLine(testArr, 6)); //Modify this line to test
console.log("After: " + JSON.stringify(testArr));

Add the number to the end of the array, then remove the first element of array. The nextInLine function should then return the element that was removed.

I can remove the first element, but I can't figure out how to "add the number to the end of the array" can anyone help?

@Pjdaze long starts out with 0, so when the first word The s reached , it checks that the length 3 is greater than 0, so long is assigned 3.
this process continues and whenever you find a word whose length is larger than the value in long
that word's length is stored in long

Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
Mar 12 2017 06:29
@Pjdaze as str[i].lenght is different from one iteration to another(the for loop) you need to store it in the long var only IF the new str[i].lenght its higher then the value you already have in the long variable otherwise you keep that value. hope it makes sense

@Pjdaze yes. long var is zero first time but with the first assignment long=str[i].lenght it changes its value and now it keeps the value of str[i].lenght. next time when you make the comparison you will compare long with the new str[i].lenght value

Manish Giri

long is a variable
it doesn't accumulate
it's value gets overwritten each time
@Pjdaze
like
var result = 1; //result is now 1
result = 2; //result is now 2
result = 1000; //result is now 1000

Help me please with these: Make the second child in each of your well elements bounce. You must target the children of element with the target class. <script>
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#target1").css("color", "red");
$("#target1").prop("disabled", true);
$("#target4").remove();
$("#target2").appendTo("#right-well");
$("#target5").clone().appendTo("#left-well");
$("#target1").parent().css("background-color", "red");
$("#right-well").children().css("color", "orange");

$(".target:nth-child(2)").addClass("bounce");

});

  1. Give the submit button in your form the classes btn btn-primary.
  2. Add a <i class="fa fa-paper-plane"></i> within your submit button element.

@ssucoder this is the same code you posted earlier...
where' your opening <form> in what you posted?
it's kind of smooshed up in the middle making no closing > on your <input type...
@ssucoder should looks more like this:
<form ....>
     <input.... >

out the input inside the forms
ssucoder
@ssucoder
Mar 12 2017 08:17
form should not come inside input type?
Darren

Mar 12 2017 08:17

@ssucoder you said it yourself up above:

is says nest the text input element within a form element

"Add the action="/submit-cat-photo" attribute to this form element."
@ssucoder here's the example they give: "<form action="/url-where-you-want-to-submit-form-data"></form>
but replace the action part with: action="/submit-cat-photo"
then put the input part in between them (between the full <form ....> and it's closing </form>

Do you know where your image element is?
You see the <img src ?
mvvsmanoj
@mvvsmanoj
Mar 12 2017 09:18
yes
G-Manas
@G-Manas
Mar 12 2017 09:19
So first
You need to create a class in CSS
mvvsmanoj
@mvvsmanoj
Mar 12 2017 09:19
ok
G-Manas
@G-Manas
Mar 12 2017 09:19
With width 100 pixels
So
.smaller-image {
width: 100px;
}
And in HTML, you simply need to add a class inside the <img element
So,
<img class="smaller-image" src...........

hi, everyone! I don't know why I added $("#target3").addClass("animated faceOut"); but fault is "Target the element with the id target3 and use the jQuery addClass() function to give it the class fadeOut."

I need to retrieve the quote from the site instead of typing there.

@ericlimengnian you need to create a div element around each of the button element that you have used
You have this at the moment: <button class="btn btn-block btn-primary">Like</button>
You need to nest each of your button element with a div element with the class col-xs-4
So required code: <div class="col-xs-4"><button class="btn btn-block btn-primary">Like</button></div>
No worries, @sparvekar
