Well… they can’t check every single camper’s multiple projects. They only check people who have finished all the certificates and want to do the volunteer projects. However, in the beta, they have written some tests that your projects should pass to kind of guide you in the right direction.

I tend to peek at the answer after I finish a challenge. On "Where do I belong?" I just put the argument in the array, sorted it, and got its index, which passes as a valid solution. Is there any benefit to doing it the wiki's way? They use an if loop on the sorted array to find the first number that is smaller and pass the return the incrementor as the index. Is there any benefit to the loop? http://i.imgur.com/QKUGsNN.png

@njordomir maybe the performance? Have you consider the Big O?
Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld
May 02 2017 00:19
not really
its still going to be n
array has to be sorted regardless too
doesn't matter if you're sorting one more element
njordomir
@njordomir
May 02 2017 00:21
@ho-man-chan Not sure, but my (admittedly small) understanding of it is that loops eat resources. I guess if no one sees anything wrong with how I did it, I'm happy with it too!
Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld
May 02 2017 00:21
indexof is going to go through each element in the array until it finds what its looking for the speed should be comparable
if you're interested you could always create 2 algorithms and test them both for time
have to create large arrays to test though, not sure if it will yield any noticeable results

@coymeetsworld That would actually be interesting. If my solution is faster, I could add it to the wiki, depending on who has edit perms. But if you're busy don't worry about it. Remove the style attribute from your h2 element.
Create a style element.
Your h2 element should be blue.
Ensure that your stylesheet h2 declaration is valid with a semicolon and closing brace.
Make sure all your style elements are valid and have a closing tag.

<style>
2
h2 {color: blue;}

@BlueFlameAble39 to clarify again, this is "Change the Color of Text"?

Now let's change the color of some of our text.

We can do this by changing the style of your h2 element.

The style that is responsible for the color of an element's text is the "color" style.

Here's how you would set your h2 element's text color to blue:

h2 style="color: blue">CatPhotoApp</h2>

Change your h2 element's style so that its text color is red.

Akbar Zubairi
@akberj
May 02 2017 01:52

Create a script element making sure it is valid and has a closing tag.
You should add $(document).ready(function() { to the beginning of your script element.
Close your $(document).ready(function() { function with });
