Is this a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly? The instructions have asked me to degrade h2 to the font Monospace if Lobster is not available. To make Lobster unavailable, I am to comment out the call to Google. However, after it is commented out I get an error with h2.

.red-text {
color: red;
}

h2 {
font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
}

p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Monospace;
}

Sorry, I forgot to include the commented out portion:

.red-text {
color: red;

I absolutely do, it's in the game rules
Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if caused by underpopulation.
Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.
Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by overpopulation.
Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.

The new main syntax (as of Sass 3) is known as “SCSS” (for “Sassy CSS”), and is a superset of CSS3's syntax. This means that every valid CSS3 stylesheet is valid SCSS as well. SCSS files use the extension .scss. The second, older syntax is known as the indented syntax (or just “Sass”).

Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
May 03 2017 03:34
@aime37 okay, first thing is here
<p {font-size:16px} >
remove the font-size part
it goes inside the style tags
next thing is this -
.red-text {
color: red;
font-size: 16px;
}
you're adding font-size: 16px to the red-text class
that way, any element which has the red-text class will have it's font size set to 16px
while you want to set the font size for only p elements

so like the way you selected red-text class with

.red-text {
...
}

you can similarly select the p elements -

p {
...
}

and set the font-size in there

that will then apply only to p elements
aime37
@aime37
May 03 2017 03:37
like this? <style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
.p {font-size: 16px;
}>
</style>

@dangelot look at what you did for red-text
just defining the style doesn't do anything, you need to specify where its used in your code

Between the style tags, give the p elements font-size of 16px. Browser and Text zoom should be at 100%

@dangelot you have to use "existing" image => <img class="smaller-image thick-green-border" src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. "> do not add a new image
