The getJSON is not successfully loading data. Am I not correctly making the request? Is the problem with the URL? When I load it in a browser window the data is there. https://codepen.io/andrewc69/pen/aWrKJw?editors=1111

Your h1 element should have the class blue-text.
Both blue-text and pink-text should belong to the same h1 element.
Your h1 element should be blue.

Hello! I have a problem with a step. I have to do this: Add a div element below your h3 element.
Your div element should have the class row
Your row div should be nested inside the container-fluid div

and my clear code is this:
<div class="container-fluid">
<h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>

</div>

Sahana Balram

Create a second p element after the existing p element with the following kitty ipsum text: Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.

Inside the same <style> tag that contains your red-text class, create an entry for p elements and set the font-size to 16 pixels (16px).

Note
Due to browser implementation differences, you may need to be at 100% zoom to pass the tests on this challenge.

Also, please do not add a class attribute to your new p element.

Here is the code: <style>
.red-text {
color: red;
font-size: 16px
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

I'm having issues making my h1 element visible by uncommenting it
Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld
Jun 06 2017 01:19
@cfcwv1995 anything between the <!-- and --> tags are commented, meaning the code isn't rendered on the page
if you want to uncomment it you need to remove those tags that surround the h1 code

not one h1 tag with id attr and one h1 tag with class attr

hello world How do i use the lobster font correctly
Now, let's import and apply a Google font (note that if Google is blocked in your country, you will need to skip this challenge).

First, you'll need to make a call to Google to grab the Lobster font and load it into your HTML.

Copy the following code snippet and paste it into the top of your code editor:

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

Now you can set Lobster as a font-family value on your h2

Apply the font-family of Lobster to your h2 element.

Run tests (ctrl + enter)
Reset Help Bug
Import the Lobster font.
Your h2 element should use the font Lobster.
Your p element should still use the font Monospace. <style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}

p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Monospace;
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<h2 font-family: Lobster; <link="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

Jun 06 2017 02:37
Sometimes your HTML elements will receive multiple styles that conflict with one another.
For example, your h1 element can't be both green and pink at the same time.
Let's see what happens when we create a class that makes text pink, then apply it to an element. Will our class override the body element's color: green; CSS property?
Create a CSS class called pink-text that gives an element the color pink.
Give your h1 element the class of pink-text.

Problem:
Inside the same <style> tag that contains your red-text class, create an entry for p elements and set the font-size to 16 pixels (16px).

Note
Due to browser implementation differences, you may need to be at 100% zoom to pass the tests on this challenge.

Also, please do not add a class attribute to your new p element.

@thEPiQone - your div with the class="well" is supposed to be nested inside the <div class="col-xs-6"></div>, so it should be like this;

<div class="col-xs-6">
    <div class="well"></div>
</div>

Nested inside means between the <div> and the </div>. Also, you have an erroneous semicolon in your <div class="well";> - there should be no semicolon.

I am in "Build a Random Quote Machine"
I am already done building my program. There is one problem, though. The reload of the quotes takes a lot of time.
I need for my button to execute my function, and be ready to take another request instantaneously.

I have a quick question as well...If someone wouldn't mind returning back to the beginning of their Freecodecamp days. I'm ..like...10 slides in and came across a hick up. I'm using CSS and am trying to get my element style to be blue... and having issues...obviously I'm a total newb at this but would love any suggestions. I've got <style> h2 {color:blue;} </style> should have worked based on the instructions. but total no go. any suggestions?

Can anyone help me? I am new to programming and I am working on challenges. I am being asked to create a button element in bootstrap but I know nothing about bootstrap. Can any one point me into the right direction? How do I make a button element in bootstrap?
Alexander R Bott
@Abott1222
Jun 06 2017 04:48
to nest an img inside an a element -> <a> <img> </a>
@tmptwas your code looks good to me. try refreshing the page. sometimes that fixes it
@pursaa they mean to style it with a bootstrap predefined class
@pursaa <button class=“btn btn-primary”> would use the bootstrap class btn and btn-primary for example
@driellys did that help?

@Abott1222 Here's what I got:

<a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-running-cats" alt="Three kittens running towards the camera."></a>
<!--this is the example-->
However, the activity is place the existing image element within an anchor element wich I previously deleted.

that looks good to me. If they want you to use the thing you deleted you can reset your code?
