we can insert all class values in a single class attribute

@darmybraine create a class in style tag named whatever you're asked for then assign it to the speicific element
@facwekaka when you're assigning two classes to one element there names must be in single class="" separated by a space in the same two quotation marks

@caseym94 basically you have

function ret (a) {
  function ret (b) {
    console.log(b);
    return b;
  };
  setTimeout(function () {
    ret(a);
  }, 1000);

var r = ret(2);

function ret(a) needs to return something if you want to assign the returned value to r

@magallan03 .smaller-image { width: 100px; } should be inside the <style> tags not in <body>
@magallan03 and also the class="smaller-image" should be added to the existing <img> tag. Don't create a new <img> tag

question, how can I deal with this?
"Replace the value of your a element's href attribute with a #, also known as a hash symbol, to turn it into a dead link."
So I put

<a href=#></p>

ex: <a href="www.google.com"></a>

Ravi Kishore Thella
@ravikishorethella
Jun 10 2017 02:34
@dalumiller bootstrap grid contains 12 columns
so in your code you have divided the grid into 4 sections i.e, bio, portfolio, contatc, projects. Each section takes 3 columns.
Alexander Køpke
@alexanderkopke
Jun 10 2017 02:38
@dalumiller anyways. Your css text-centers h1 elements. But you don't have any of those. You have divs. If you changed it work on div the text would be centered. However, I would recommend creating a class that text-centers and then add that class to the elements you want to text-center.

@JasonCorp84 Use dark sky API, sign up and get an api key and then use https://crossorigin.me
I Just got it working yesterday. . .
@JasonCorp84 your ajax call will end up looking something like this:
$.ajax( {
            url: 'https://crossorigin.me/https://api.darksky.net/forecast/' + key + '/' + lat + ',' + lon + '/',
@JasonCorp84 codepen no longer allows http connections so the method you are attempting isnt possible, but the DarkSkyAPI works if you use crossorigin.me

Your h2 element should be red.
Your h2 element should have the class red-text.
Your stylesheet should declare a red-text class and have its color set to red.
Do not use inline style declarations like style="color: red" in your h2 element.

@navar316 did you create a class like .im_a_class { color: some_color; }
navar316
@navar316
Jun 10 2017 04:19

Use a CSS Class to Style an Element
Classes are reusable styles that can be added to HTML elements.

Here's an example CSS class declaration:

<style>
.blue-text {
color: blue;
}
this is the instructions </style>
You can see that we've created a CSS class called blue-text within the <style> tag.

You can apply a class to an HTML element like this:

<h2 class="blue-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

Note that in your CSS style element, classes should start with a period. In your HTML elements' class declarations, classes shouldn't start with a period.

Inside your style element, change the h2 selector to .red-text and update the color's value from blue to red.

Give your h2 element the class attribute with a value of 'red-text
