Hello coders, I am trying to do something on pen, I'm not too good at knowing what I need, but i'm getting better at structure now.

My question is how do I make 2 gifs side by side?

Something strange is going on with my twitch tv api project. the links to the channels look right, but when you click on them they don't load correctly. however, if you copy/paste the url text to a different browser tab then it loads correctly. Am I missing something here?

I'm having trouble with the math part of Basic JavaScript - Generate Random Whole Numbers within a Range https://www.freecodecamp.com/challenges/generate-random-whole-numbers-within-a-range
This is the solution

function randomRange(myMin, myMax) {
  return Math.floor(Math.random() * (myMax - myMin + 1)) + myMin;
}

// Change these values to test your function
var myRandom = randomRange(5, 15);

But I when I try to follow along the code, I keep getting 14 as the highest number that can be generated, not 15.
This is my reasoning process, assuming Math.random() generates 0.9:

Math.floor(Math.random() * (myMax - myMin + 1)) + myMin
Math.floor(Math.random() * (15 - 5 + 1)) + 5
Math.floor(Math.random() * 11) + 5
Math.floor(0.9 * 11) + 5
Math.floor(9.9) + 5
9 + 5 = 14

What's the error in my math/reasoning process?

@ez12024 It’s hard for me to say since bootstrap is my favorite framework and jquery was sorta natural for me

@yeakoo Have you checked out https://codeigniter.com it’s a framework for PHP
You would change to the MVC style of coding and get a template system so you don’t have to write PHP inside HTML (it looks a bit messy :/ )
Thoughts?
Alexandre Lefebvre

I don't
Wait a minute

}
function bcpi($precision)

    bcscale($precision+3);
    $limit = ($precision+3)/14;
    while($k < $limit)
    {
        $num = bcadd($num, bcdiv(bcmul(bcadd('13591409',bcmul('545140134', $k)),bcmul(bcpow(-1, $k), bcfact(6*$k))),bcmul(bcmul(bcpow('640320',3*$k+1),bcsqrt('640320')), bcmul(bcfact(3*$k), bcpow(bcfact($k),3)))));

}

$template->set_filenames(array(

$template->assign_vars(array(
    'PSEUDO' => 'Yeakoo',
    'pie' => bcpi()

<p>{pie(10)}</p>
for example
Sandip Shrestha
@saninmersion
Jun 17 2017 03:06 UTC
@yeakoo it's the same, { bcpi(10) } or return the variable $pp = bcpi(1000); you have assigned a value from the function { pp } . Also twig uses {{ pp }}. am not sure which template you are using
Alexandre Lefebvre
@yeakoo

Ok, so let's make an example function called multiply. The purpose of the function is the to multiply the value of two numbers. We could hardcode this function like this:

var product = 5*5

But there's a better way to do this. We can create a function so that we can dynamically reuse this code.

Here's our function declaration:

function multiply(numberOne numberTwo) {

    return numberOne * numberTwo

}

This function returns the product of the two parameters we put in. So to use this function, we have to put two numbers in the parenthesis when we call the function.

To run the function, call it like so:
multiply(5, 5)

This would return 25.

On this challenge: https://www.freecodecamp.com/challenges/target-elements-by-class-using-jquery

it says:
First, let's target your div elements with the class well by using the $(".well") selector.

and to satisfy this it requires:
Use the jQuery addClass() function to give the classes animated and shake to all your elements with the class well.

So I put the code:

<script>
  $(document).ready(function() {

It says I got the challenge correct, but I never had to type $(".well") anywhere. Why is this?

Jun 17 2017 05:21 UTC
@davidlair yes, I read your comment.
First, let's target your div elements with the class well by using the $(".well") selector.
r u using the selector?

you use colon, check your other styles property:value not property=value

@danimalplanet your nesting needs to be fixed
rows shouldn't be nested in rows, columns shouldn't be nested in columns
Gerald17
@Gerald17
Jun 17 2017 05:23 UTC
@davidlair you need to add a class to the element <div class="well"></div>
davidlair
@davidlair
Jun 17 2017 05:23 UTC
By nesting, you mean just put $(".well") instead of $("div)
I do have that..

Why do I put .well .. insetad of just well
instead*
Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld
Jun 17 2017 05:24 UTC
because well is a class
without the dot its going to look for the html element well, which doesn't exist

Gerald17
@Gerald17
Jun 17 2017 05:25 UTC
@davidlair you need to use .well for classes and #well for id attribute and for tags you just put the name of the tag "p"
davidlair
