It asked me to do those, You need 2 p elements with Kitty Ipsum text.
Make sure each of your p elements has a closing tag.
Your p element should contain the first few words of the provided additional kitty ipsum text.
The first p element should have the class red-text.
Do not add a class attribute to the second p element.
Between the style tags, give the p elements font-size of 16px. Browser and Text zoom should be at 100%.
But i just fail at the last one

Hey guys, I'm having trouble understanding the Golf Code challenge. Any help?

Code:

function golfScore(par, strokes) {
// Only change code below this line
if (par, 1) {return "Hole-in-one!";}
else if (par, par - 2 >= strokes) {return "Eagle";}
else if (par, par - 3 = strokes) {return "Birdie";}
else if (par, par = strokes) {return "Par";}
else if (par, par + 1 = strokes) {return "Bogey";}
else if (par, par + 2 = strokes) {return "Double Bogey";}
else if (par ,par + 3 <= strokes) {return "Go Home!";}

return "Change Me";
// Only change code above this line
}

// Change these values to test
golfScore(4, 2);

On this example page https://codepen.io/freeCodeCamp/full/NNvBQW Here's a time line of Dr. Borlaug's life:
1914 - Born in Cresco, Iowa
1933 - Leaves his family's farm to attend the University of Minnesota, thanks to a Depression era program known as the "National Youth Administration"
1935 - Has to stop school and save up more money. Works in the Civilian Conservation Corps, helping starving Americans. "I saw how food changed them", he said. "All of this left scars on me."

You can make elements into links by nesting them within an a element.

Nest your image within an a element. Here's an example:

<a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-running-cats" alt="Three kittens running towards the camera. "></a>

Remember to use # as your a element's href property in order to turn it into a dead link.

Place the existing image element within an anchor element.

Once you've done this, hover over your image with your cursor. Your cursor's normal pointer should become the link clicking pointer. The photo is now a link.

In the above code snippet, why is it that the 3rd 'console.log' line prints [2,3,4,5,6] .. as per my logic, when testArr is passed to 'nextInLine' function, only a copy of testArr is passed as an argument. Thus, the 3rd 'console.log' line must print [1,2,3,4,5] as it is, without any change !

@iamrkcheers because arrays and objects are passed by reference. So if you have a variable that points to an array then if you change something on the arr it will also change on the actual array:

var array = [1];
function changeArray(arr){
 arr.shift();
}
changeArray(array);
console.log(array); //  => []
//unlike socalled primitives like number, strings which are copies and changes in the original value won't affect the copy
var a = 1;
var b = a;
a = 2;
b is still 1

Therefore we conclude that objects and arrays cannot be copied by value but only by reference

Rishabh Kashyap
@iamrkcheers
Jun 19 2017 03:35
@roxroy The answer I found was that in case of objects/arrays, JavaScript is 'pass by reference', whilst in any other case, it is 'pass by value'

@myoussef9366 firs of all
you have P
and font-size = , there is no = at CSS
Roxroy
@roxroy
Jun 19 2017 03:38
@iamrkcheers , that is correct. So since it is by reference the value gets updated in the called function - that why there is a side effect. Good job at finding the reason behind it.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for help on my tribute page. I have a banner, so to speak, which is the flag of Bangladesh. The red circle should be in the middle but when I check on mobile, in both orientations, the text stacks and pushes the red circle out of place. I've tried rows, clearfix, aligning... and I've read countless responsive and typography posts. Here is the code and a ss: <div class="container-fluid">
<div class="green-background">
<h1 class="text-success text-center body"><span>Joy<span>

Hello, I am the the change the font size of an element challenge. I'm not sure why it's not working, here's my code. If one of you guys could review it, I'd appreciate it! :)

use bootstrap rows and columns like you learned before
@dianaclarosz the font-size statement doesn't go inside the red-text class
you need to create another selector, targeting the p element

CSS borders have properties like style, color and width

For example, if we wanted to create a red, 5 pixel border around an HTML element, we could use this class:

<style>
.thin-red-border {
border-color: red;
border-width: 5px;
border-style: solid;
}
</style>
Create a class called thick-green-border that puts a 10-pixel-wide green border with a style of solid around an HTML element, and apply that class to your cat photo.

Remember that you can apply multiple classes to an element by separating each class with a space within its class attribute. For example:

<img class="class1 class2">

It seems they won't audit your work until you have you have pledged and claimed your certificate. I don't think they will go over your work until you claim your certificate. Most never make it this far and it doesn't make sense to review code until all projects are done. So you have plenty of time.

add p {

Or you can ignore the font-family: Monospace;

but make sure you do p { font-size: 16px; }

So it would look like this:

<style>
p {
font-size: 16px;
}
</style>

that will change all your <p> TEXT HERE </p>

Hello guys~I was wondering what's the best way to line up your "list element" with your P element? I have tried margin but didn't work. (another silly question, how do I paste the screenshot I take to this room? )

h2 style="color=red">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

Your h2 element should be red.
