Jun 23 2017 00:20
why are you looping through the first array twice?
what happens when the first array is big, but the second array only has one element?
Loxias1
@Loxias1
Jun 23 2017 00:21
first loop was to make a two-dimensional array consisting of letter/word elements. second loop is to make 0 element in each word array a capital letter
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jun 23 2017 00:22
yep, and you're looping through the second array a number of times equal to the length of some other array.

@Idek-Dan So what you can do is you define a class inside your image tag. Call that class inside your style tag and define a border with properties like border-style , border-radius, border-width

you can swap it out @FREExM1ND I'm just giving you the general idea.... bs4 is pretty cool tbh ... but I haven't realized its full 'flexy' potential - and it's very different from prior
Ammar Khan

Ammar Khan
@ammarkhann

@Idek-Dan You can do that via inline styling but during the other challenges you must have created the style tag where you can call all the classes you want and define their properties
Daniel scott davies
@Idek-Dan
Jun 23 2017 01:53

Remove the style attribute from your h2 element.
Create a style element.
Your h2 element should be blue.
Ensure that your stylesheet h2 declaration is valid with a semicolon and closing brace.
Make sure all your style elements are valid and have a closing tag.

@ipejuan here's the basic structure for the loop (again your loop doesn't run and your closing } is off) it's up to you to put stuff that meets the requirements
function lookUpProfile(firstName, prop) {
    // Only change code below this line
    for (let i = 0; i < contacts.length; i++) {
        console.log('make sure the loop works first');

@FREExM1ND so, in bootstrap the convention is row columns, row columns repeat

@qmikew1 right i get that

Jun 23 2017 02:44
but your basic question is 'how to get all the bottom buttons on the same row' - so, in the example I provided it shows that. So, along with that, it creates a secondary problem which the top image is now sort of skewed in terms of position ... .you can fix that with column offsets and in some cases text-center

@thekholm80 the way I did it was, have 2 variables, one to hold the sum of adding each array element, and one to hold the max running sum.

Then I just compare the 2 variables in each iteration..

@Manish-Giri I wont. But i would get the mirrored number on lastIndex-1 (beucase the adjacent would be lastIndex). So i dont even need to do that for the lastIndex.
It is working properly on those cases where we have a mirrored number in the string.
The problem is on cases where there is none. There is probably something to do with the booleam return of some() method that i just cant figure out

Create a class called smaller-image and use it to resize the image so that it's only 100 pixels wide.

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}

h2 {
font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
}

p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Monospace;
}
</style>

<img .smaller-image {width:100px;} /img>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
