Write a function nextInLine which takes an array (arr) and a number (item) as arguments. Add the number to the end of the array, then remove the first element of array. The nextInLine function should then return the element that was removed.

1- for external CSS you need to import it via the "external resources" tab
2- to actually launch JS methods you need to change the JS Loadtype to "no wrap in body"
3- it's called `onload=`; the `onLoad()` is a JQuery method. Mind the capial L

Hello I need help please

$("h3").html("<em>jQuery Playground</em>");

jQuery also has a similar function called .text() that only alters text without adding tags. In other words, this function will not evaluate any HTML tags passed to it, but will instead treat it as the text you want to replace the existing content with.

Change the button with id target4 by emphasizing its text.

You can build web forms that actually submit data to a server using nothing more than pure HTML. You can do this by specifying an action on your form element.

For example:

<form action="/url-where-you-want-to-submit-form-data"></form>

Nest your text field in a form element. Add the action="/submit-cat-photo" attribute to this form element.

@KingKongg You cannot simply replace a letter in a string with the index method. You would have to replace the entire string such as:
myStr = "Hello World";

myStr[0]="H"; // this line is irrelevant and can be removed

Hi all! I'm in the "Use Responsive Design with Bootstrap Fluid Containers" challenge and I noticed something that feels like a discrepancy; the Google font import provided by the challenge is this:

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
where the Bootstrap import is this:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.1/css/bootstrap.min.css"/>
so, is there supposed to be a / at the end of imports, or no?

@KingKongg read instructions, you can't change a letter inside a string because the string is immutable
myStr[0]="H"; i.e. you can't do this
Nahuel Ovejero
@NahuelOvejero
Jun 26 2017 04:30
@tmoy6 the class is good, now you have to use it.

Anyone have any advice on the thick green border exercise.?I've wasted almost an hour on semantics trying to figure out where the error is. This is something I can fix no problem using other methods in 45 seconds on Codepen or W3 schools. I really like this site and program but I can't have it keep wasting my time like this when I can practice Java and other languages other places. I've read it about 20 times and can't find the error. I'll post my code below

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}

h2 {
font-family: Lobster, Monospace;

.smaller-image {

.thick-green-border {

border-width: 10px;
border-style: solid;

}

</style>

class= ?

html tag starts with a name, then pairs of attribute names and values separated with an equals sign
i.e. <img class="" src="" alt="">
you should only specify each attribute once in a tag

Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld

or else it will read the last instance of it
and if you want to add multiple classes, you separate them with a space in the quotes. That is also covered in the instructions
i.e. class="class1 class2 class3"
@wine1016 why did you put it inside an h2 tag?
shouldn't be doing that
