I need binary help
This works most of the time, but sometimes it doesn’t; sometimes when I try to click on an empty box, it doesn’t put anything in it, and sometimes the computer doesn’t put anything in the boxes after I have played.

In other words, can you solve it with the idea in your head or on scratch paper? If no, then we can talk about that. If yes, then it's a matter of coding it up and you'll just have to refresh your chops a little.

@tiagocorreiaalmeida Your CSS goes crazy when there is no value in the calculator. You have the CE button popping the last-appended value. Once it's popped them all, the screen is blank and the CSS goes awry. The same thing happens with you hit the AC button: it clears the screen and the CSS gets ugly.
Change the AC action to entrys = ["0"] so it acts like a real calculator and that will fix the AC action.

Modify your CE function so that it will display a value of 0 instead of null once all entries are popped and it will be fixed there, too.

You can word wrap once it hits a certain character count, so it displays two lines at a smaller font. Or you can have it scroll horizontally, but that might be a little complicated. Or just stop accepting new input once it hits the limit.
But I suspect you'll want it to be character count that triggers your limit, not width.
If you get a huge number, use base10 notation.
Convert to base10 notation.

Anyone knows how can I "reset" the color of a:visited ?

@Adishjain58 anyway, as I was saying earlier, you don't necessarily need to sort the array. Instead you can create a temp variable outside the loop, set it to 0, in the loop compare length of each word and if length is larger than the value of the temp variable, assign the length of this word to the variable..
in this way, once your loop finishes
the temp variable will have the length of the longest word

that wont make the resolution better. that simply just enlarges your original photo. you cannot "improve" a photo's resolution, you can only make a new foto, with better resolution :P @andreibratu26

You are asking the program to iterate for the lenght of the string.
But exactly why?

Considering this example where string = 'test
Well, it's obvious that the longest word here is just test,
But still you are iterating 4 times thanks to the previous loop, even tho your string is just composed of 1 word.

@VicPopescu We recently migrated our entire Angular 1.3 project to 1.6 and refactored to component API everywhere with Typescript (as a prep step to migrate to ng4)
that was pretty cool :D
There is nothing you can't do with JS that you can do by adding strictly typed sugar on top of it. (eg: typescript)

Making js familiar to java/c# people is a comparatively weak argument for the existence of ts.
but valid, nonetheless
The way DTOs are mapped to VOs (in spring mvc, for example)

every sub array has its own index..so the first sub is at index position 0, next index position 1 and so on @cykins4good
so when you get to your target sub array you need to tell the js engine the specific element u want @cykins4good by specifying with the index
of the element

he does a decent job explaining the svg use
@thekholm80 the whole v3 vs v4 thing is interesting
every doc you find redirects you to a diff. doc

I go off down different paths when I see those things because I want to learn more useful stuff, but there is always something else that comes along... what to focus on and when is a great question!

@eweiss17 not a pro and not working as a dev, but here's some thoughts. You can't really go wrong with learning the capabilities and features of vanilla JS, these dovetail nicely into other languages and make new es6 features more sensical. As I understand it, many people are pursuing React or Angular for the job markets associated with them, much in the same way jQuery used to be popular. React jobs pay well currently and it appears they will in the future as well.
learning React has not been the easiest for me, but I see its value. I'd like to also dabble in angular or vue just to see what those are like.
I think the best qualification for jobs I see is the ability to make full-stack apps with a core language, a database, a view library, and potentially your own api
after that, if I were you, I'd probably focus on getting hired and then adopting the toolset of the company you work for OR alternatively, try to find a company that uses a stack you are most comfortable with

personally, I think UI/UX will grow and become its own field with clear rationale. It's just quite nascent right now

I will stick with the option of specialty. One can specialize in front-end and not necessarily go through all hurdles of learning lots of technologies just to be a full stack

The rate at which technologies are been released is quite alarming and being full stack will entail one to commit to learning languages, dbs, frameworks, apis and all..well i will stick with front-end to make my learning fun and my life easy

@thekholm80 I used to have the same feeling till i made a decision to focus on front-end. I currently do not know photoshop or even UI/UX but i am okay with HTML/CSS and will be learning javascript and probably pick up a front-end framework like react and i am okay

and remember bootstrap.js requires jquery as a dependency so jquery needs to be added first

try your next project without using bootstrap... gains you perspective on how easy bootstrap makes things

Accessing it with myArray[0] gives you access to the first sub-array which is [1,2,3]. myArray[1] would give you access to [4,5,6]. To get to the second level values, you add another array index that refers to the element within the sub-array - so to get the value 3 which is the third element in the first sub-array, you would use myArray[0][2] - as @eweiss17 pointed out, 0-based index, as you probably already know from just the simple single-dimension array.

Tribute Page

Anybody have a better method that works? I'm trying to get the image to display in its entirety and I want the text block to be overlayed exactly as it is. So it looks great right now, except for the fact it isn't centered on the screen. All of my attempts to center it aren't working, probably because it's inside a module, but the module is what got the image and text to behave.

The image size is fine and it's a large image already. The way it's displayed right now is actually down-sized. I like it this way.

If you're paying for CC, then can't you install Illustrator for free? That's what my subscription permitted me to do. You could do a 30-day trial, at least.

It's probably not displaying in the browser because you don't have any programs registered to handle the .svg file extension.

I load a music track in my page, and the player works fine except that when I click on the progress bar to change the current time it doesn't work. This is my player:

yeah, I agree with that.
I did try to use a flexbox instead of a module, but ran into the same problem. And flexbox wasn't even displaying the image.

I want to make a string based on the list values. If list has '1G', I want to append "" in string. If list has '100G', I want to append "new" in string.

For example, 1.py:

@abdel974 You don't need a key to get the city, look at the data and you will see an array returned with addresses in it.
The first element of the array is another array that gives street level accuracy, and each element gets less accurate from there

I *believe* location is a reserved word, you'll need to use a different function name.
your getJSON is outside of the location function, so the latitude and longitude variables will be undefined
And you are not calling the function that gets your location

Plus when I look at the code for the Tribute Page example on Dr. Borough it doesn't have some of the code that was already on my code page
I looked where it said to add on the settings icon top right but didn't see how to add bootstrap.
I just clicked on external resources and found where to add the url for bootstrap and I added it and saved and ran it but nothing changed. Did I not add bootstrap right?

@moigithub I’m using binary numbers to track the tic tac toe game. I don’t know if this is making things more complicated, or easier. This is just the way I’m doing it…and it seems to work more or less.
