@Darrenfj I found some code here https://dcrazed.com/html-css3-social-media-buttons/ and it looks like it's from the font-awesome color brand and social icons. I edited the css part and then will work on tweaking it for my needs as you mentioned for buttons. I will review the FCC exercises to make sure I do it right. Thanks!

Hey, is there a way to look at individual parts of a response when using mongoDB in the command line?
Like if you ran db.find and ended up with
{ "_id" : ObjectId("59bce401b487201ac6729bf1"), "ownerID" : "59bcd6c5fe4eb6177be5c2c7", "name" : "Favorite Color", "options" : [ { "name" : "Red", "votes" : 2, "_id" : ObjectId("59bce401b487201ac6729bf4") }, { "name" : "Green", "votes" : 4, "_id" : ObjectId("59bce401b487201ac6729bf3") }, { "name" : "Blue", "votes" : 29, "_id" : ObjectId("59bce401b487201ac6729bf2") } ], "__v" : 0 }

I’m having trouble deploying my web app on Heroku. I’m getting the below errors when running a bug test on the command line. I understand its something to do with the package JSON most likely, but cannot seem to solve it. The random-quote-machine is not even a dependency for this so I’m a bit lost.

and the entry point is just for when you are using node as a server, so not really applicable in this case. @KUBIX90

@KUBIX90 Heroku would require a server serving up your index.html, I believe. So it would require using some NodeJS server, or Express. Another option can be glitch, where you can host your files too. https://glitch.com/

@MattUnderwood - I don't think that you can use non-integers in a loop control? Not sure about that, though.... have to check the C docs. Oh, and you are declaring i as an int... that wouldn't work with a float operation, at least not according to my recollection of C...

@KUBIX90 - Looking at your github pages version. I can see some problems there - you are loading jquery.slim.js - I don't think that that has an $.ajax method in it? It seems that I've looked this up before. I don't know how many other things are related. Try loading the full version of jquery and see if it changes things. Unfortunately I cannot spend any more time looking at it, but that looks like a place to start because it seems to be loading your app.js file and then it gets an error because of the ajax function.

You should be able to host things that don't to "illegal" things - that is, things like cross-origin references, etc. that the browser will not allow. To host on github pages, you have a limit of size that you can host, but you can make sub-folders with different projects, I think that works. I forget what the size limitation is for hosting files, something like 1 or 2 gb? I seem to recall that it was something small. https://help.github.com/articles/what-is-github-pages/ - looks like 1Gb for published pages, so that would be your total space that you can use.
khaduch @khaduch - have to run along - happy coding everyone!

@KUBIX90 always check the source link first. your's id broken. since you are not using any node code better not complicate things with node too.
also maybe https://github.com/KUBIX90/random-quote-machine/blob/master/node_modules/jquery/dist/jquery.js would have worked too
@KUBIX90 and the link I gave you is link of a cdn of jquery.

@saninmersion Great, they both seem to work fine, I tried something similar to the second one before, but must have made an error somewhere, thanks again for your help!
