Hi all, I am very new to code. Actually, let say Freecodecamp is my first step to learning. I have a keen interest in learning the Python language for Data Analysis. However, in the course listing, I cannot seem to find the section dedicated to Python. Could someone kindly provide me some insight or direction? Thank you

@RyanErickson82_twitter There is no python in fccs curriculum, we use node.js for backend.

@denis1006 - if you can post all of your code using the markdown coding syntax with three backticks ``` on a line before and three more on a line after, it will show the exact code. In other words, do this:
```
<form action="/submit-cat-photo" id="cat-photo-form">
```

and it should show like this:

<form action="/submit-cat-photo" id="cat-photo-form">

@Devashish45 - please delete that post and repost using markdown syntax. Read about it here: https://forum.freecodecamp.com/t/markdown-code-formatting/18391
AND THEN please indicate what error you are getting, since this is C code and you have to run it in some compiler which should give some error messages? Or is it not functioning properly?

@Devashish45 - I just copied and pasted your code to repl.it, here is a link. I don't really know what your code is supposed to do, but with changes that I made to fix compilation errors it is at the stage where it is running - I hope that it helps in some way, but a more complete description of what you are trying to do and the errors that you are seeing and specific questions would enable more help to be given.

Hi everyone, I have a mock interview coming up... in like an hour lol. Basically the city of Los Angeles has an internship exchange program, and they set up young college students or recent college grads with companies. Anyway, I have a physics B.S. from a top school but dropped out of a PhD program, and have been doing FreeCodeCamp. I've recently finished the voting app. I'm not sure if anyone has any advice for this.

@sgoldber61 a mock interview? yea. Just remember that an interview is a two way street. if you act like they have all the power…they do. you want money for your skills and they want a good dev so its really a double interview. They are seeing if you are a good fit but you are also seeing if you like them!
confidence is a shorter way of saying this, but if you don’t know what to be confident about, its not good advice to just say “be confident"

@VaseJS OK I will ask them some questions then about what they have to offer. I have heard that while JavaScript is of course the main language on the front end, that there are actually not that many node.js offerings on the back end side of things... even though FCC teaches it and that's what I've been working on.

I'm not sure if there will be any node offerings for back end, or if people mostly use something else.

it all depends where you are looking. it hard to say “there are not many node jobs” unless you can say you’ve looked at every job board there is and checked out every one. On top of that, they may have that covered and not ask for it. there are a lot of variables when it comes to what people see posted in the job world. Node is only one possible component in the back end. understanding what’s happening is still important

Hey guys! Quick questions. Im about to start the very first project: "Tribute page" And i wanted to ask, do i have to follow the exact format of the example? or can i make my tribute page look completely different, but just have the same functionality? Also, who grades these?
Im new to the site as of yesterday
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
Mar 01 2018 23:53
@thesolidmoose You do not have to match the format. Make it your own - no real grading - except for no copying
