@thekholm80 Hey, I finally got it working. Used a Font-Awesome spin class and added the loading animation to the button. Thanks for the pointers

Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:31
pretty relaxed day
got a lot done
you?
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:32
Same, I didn't get a LOT done... other than a nap LOL
Spent time with my kids earlier today. Then I came home, got some food, wrote up a console application and then slept. Hard

Jul 29 2018 00:33
Just woke up like an hr ago and now I'm sitting here going through my Test Out stuff for school, this website training thing. It has potential
Yeah it is. I needed it, I was up late with my gf

Jul 29 2018 00:33
@thekholm80 I'll be starting on the weather app next
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:34
@kodinglife you'll breeze through that one, seems like you understand apis
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:34
That's still up? I thought they took it down
Xarri Jorge
@xarrijorge
Jul 29 2018 00:35
Yeah. I love working with objects. @thekholm80 . I did it once before but it was ugly. I plan to use darksky api for this one and add option for user to choose their city.
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:35
the downside of darksky is they require api keys
and if you don't build a back end to hide your keys, they'll be exposed to everyone
Xarri Jorge
@xarrijorge
Jul 29 2018 00:36
Awwww. okay. Any alts?
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:37
if you know express at all, it should be simple to make a pass-through api. stick it on glitch or heroku
your site calls the pass-through, the pass-through calls darksky ... pretty much how full stack works tbh
Xarri Jorge
@xarrijorge
Jul 29 2018 00:38
Okay. I can look up express in the coming days see how comfortable I am with it.
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:38
i think back end is more fun
and there's no css
so win
Xarri Jorge
@xarrijorge
Jul 29 2018 00:40
Yeah. Yesterday I spent about an hour on the api and actual logic of the app and the next 15 hours on css, learning flexbox, trying to get my footer to sit still and looking up loading indicators
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:40
that stuff drives me nuts

Jul 29 2018 00:42
I started learning MongoDB and loved it. Never got around to any advance stuff though
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:43
i've only worked with flavors of sql and mongodb. i love mongodb
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:44
Essentially, working with flavors of SQL is all the same... but the other flavors just have small differences and features added
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:44
i'm not a fan
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:44
Yeah, mongo though
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:44
sql seems needlessly complicated after working with mongo
at least in my limited experience
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:45
Win 8, groooooss....
Xarri Jorge
@xarrijorge
Jul 29 2018 00:45
Yeah. I know. even simple things in SQL has everything too much
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:45
This Test Out xD
It goes over Windows Networking Essentials. Win 7 and Win 10 mostly, but for some reason it's touching on Win 8 right now :'(
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:47
here's how to network with win 8:
  1. downgrade to win 7
  2. you win!
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:47
It's pretty much a MCSA / MCP training site
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 00:48
i think i lasted about a week with windows 8. i thought "dude you hated win 7 at first, just give it a chance"
nope
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:48
I had a laptop given to me. It was the first time I really touched and looked at Win 8
I put Arch Linux on it >.>

Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 00:50
So I can make use of the Hyper-V
I upgraded my girl's Yoga to win10
I think it had 7 running on it but it popped up and said "Free Win10 upgrade!"
"Ye'sir!"

glitz20
@glitz20

I have one for the user
I want another for admin to edit and add posts

Smootimus

This may help
Dang it
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:05
I don't know how it works with Express and / or Mongodb, but it usually involves creating a extra column in the user database called userlvl or something. Give it an integer value of 1 by default for users. Set to 0 for banned, 2 for moderators and 3 for admins. Then in your code you simply check the users userlvl to hide / show what they have access to or not
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:05
Or this
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:05
columns lol that's so cute

you poor thing. someday i hope they import mongo to europe
you'll love it
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:08
Which is kinda the idea that the first video has
But he doesn't break it down like that, he just got straight into a "secret code" for admin's
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:09
lol xD
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:09
Cause he's specifically making a tut for admins but I like the idea of the banned, moderator, etc
glitz20
@glitz20
Jul 29 2018 01:10
so ok i need to assign username types, for instance username "admin" assigned for admin type and on server or router, add smth like if username "admin", show this
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:10
I started programming because I was asked to develop a chatsystem. So working with user accounts was one the first things I learned, haha
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:10
i dislike the numeric user roles, you're not really saving an enormous amount of space by not putting "user", "admin" etc
but i hate having to have a secret decoder ring to use info from a db
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:12
@thekholm80 Depends on how large your system becomes. In MySQL you're talking about the difference between TINYINT(1) or VARCHAR(10). On a simple website that won't matter. But if you look at something like FB..
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:12
given FB has 5-10 GB of data per user, i don't think they skimp
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:12
lol
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:13
lol, ofc not. But I mean that on large systems, tiny improvements do have an impact
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:13
you should ask them to mail you your fb data - i believe the EU requires them to make it available on request. I was reading an article written about that, the dude said he got like 50 cds in the mail
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:13
@sabin20 Essentially that's how you could start doing it, and you could make it more feature rich the further you wanna take it
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:15
Ghehe you're right. The GDPR actually does give us the right to get that info. Or even worse, we can order any company to relinquish that data to another company and have them incorporate it into their systems :P
I'm here like: Once we fully start to grasp the impacts of that law, they're gonna change it. I garantuee it! :laughing:
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:17
Isn't that how it always goes lol
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:17
at least they tried. we'd never get anything like that in the US
can't inhibit the job creators or whatever the catch-phrase is this week
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:18
Honestly, I'm suprised most US websites didn't just close their website for the EU, lol
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:18
i've seen some sites have built completely different pages to serve based on location
someone on twitter was commenting that they proxied a EU location and the file size was 1/5 of what they got from a US address
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:19
whahaha
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:20
Alright it's time for my haircut appointment :)
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:20
Well you could get a VPN from the EU. But trust me, all the "please confirm our cookie settings" and "read our privacy policies" will drive you nuts lol

@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:20

@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 01:21

Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:21
lol, it's 3:21 AM here
And it's freaking blazing hot! Like 38 Celcius / 101 Fahrenheit
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:23
oh man
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:24
Ye. Which wouldn't be so bad if we had a dry climate. But we don't. So it's killing
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:24
we're only in the mid-high 90s here (not gonna try to convert it lol) and it's miserable
but like 0 humidity, since it's desert
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:25
That's around 32 / 35 C :P
Ye that makes it a bit more bearable
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:26
i lived in the eastern us for a long time and the humidity was terrible
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:26
I remember being on vacation in Greece (Zakynthos). I've litterly seen (and felt!) 50 / 122 there..
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:26
i saw something the other day that the overnight low in oman was 109
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:27
Ugh
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:27
insane

smh
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:27
Well at least no one can complain this winter that we didn't have a summer..
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:27
there is that
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:29
A friend of mine bought one of those Arctic Air Coolers here. I couldn't stop laughing at him
"Why doesn't that damn thing work?!?!" :joy:
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:30
evaporative cooler?
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:30
Well because they rely on a dry climate as they use humidity to cool the air. They don't work in our climate :P
Yup
Only thing that works here is ariconditioning.
But those are freaking expensive
I think you'll pay like 1200 / 1300 US dollars for a reasonable one that can cool a small / midsized living room
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:34
wow
i got a room scale one for my office, since it has 2 west-facing windows and gets 10 deg hotter than the rest of the house. i think it only cost like $300
rated for 2-300 sq feet
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:35
Ye but that's one of those mobile ones right?
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:36
it's this one
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:37
Says website doesn't exist..
No wait, it does.. just tells me there's some coding error and cant be displayed
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:38
weird
probably a regional thing
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:38
Found it anyway. Long live Google
But ye, that's a mobile one
We have those as well for around the same price. But they hardly work here. They can lower the temperature for about 1 or 2 degrees celcius, that's it
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:39
oh man, it can turn my office into a refrigerator
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:40
Wish they were that good here..
If we want reasonable air conditioning, these are the kinds we need to buy: here
Those prices are in Euros, so they're higher in US dollars
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:42
oh right on
i have a big unit that ties into my hvac, it just can't keep up with the hell that is my office in the afternoons
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:44
Ye it's just insane
You wanna see something really bad?
chatplaza.png
I was ordered to check the security of the largest chatsite here in the Netherlands..
Pretty much everything is sent plain text through the websocket as you can see. Everyone gets to read out everything!
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:48
oh geez lol
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:48
So the guy tells me: I have no choice. Otherwise it can't work! Uhuh.. :laughing:
Showed him my chatsystem. All the websocket shows is what the user actually sees in the chat. Which are the messages. Nothing else
Now he wants to know how I did it. Told him he could hire me, ghehe
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:51
i made a chatroom in node using socket.io, but i can't remember too much about it
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:52
Ye I use socketo.me which is the PHP equivalant of socket.io
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:52
i remember thinking it was really easy to work with
event loops, listening for event emitters and then broadcasting responses
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:53
Ye it is. But the mistake he made is storing everything client side instead of just keeping it within the socket server side
Which also explains why he wanted me to check his security as he's getting hacked all the time
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:55
probably has passwords stored in clear too
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 01:55
Every programmer knows that data stored client side can easily be manipulated by the user. Guess he missed that class.. lol
Nah that's not the issue. But every client has all user ids stored. So all you have to do is modify the request headers to emit an admin's user id and there you go
So he said: Ye, but if I don't sent a user id along with every message, I can't verify who it's coming from. Guess he missed how websockets actually work as well.. lol
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 01:58
lol
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:00
Ah, much better
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:01
looks the same to me
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:01
@Smootimus wb. That was pretty fast
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:01
Yeah he just a block away from my house :D
I could walk instead of driving, which is pretty nice
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:01
ah cool
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:02
Now to jump in the shower and rinse off, cause there's nothing worse than those itchy little hairs that are all over ya when you get a fresh cut
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:03
@thekholm80 Been running my websocket for the past 16 hours and connected to it with 2 accounts. Just for fun. Not a single error or packet loss :P
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:03
in php? you should get a medal or something
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:03
Whahaha :joy:
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:03
do they give nobel prizes for php?
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:03
LOL
They should
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:04
you should make 2 chatbots and let them talk to each other
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:04
Whahaha ye I should. Though for the moment only the technical part works. I never rly took the time to create a decent interface
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:04
We did that in Sentdex's discord channel
We have like three that carry on a never ending convo
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:05
lol
i thought about downloading reddit logs to train a deep learning chat bot
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:05
But I actually had the PHP devs (yes, the actually PHP devs) over at SO have a go at it one time
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:05
but it would probably just cuss and post pics of puppies
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:06
LOL
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:06
I have no idea how, but within a couple of minutes they had like 3000 bots connecting to it and started spamming like crazy, lol
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:06
At first these bots were actually kinda creepy with their responses
That quickly ended tho
And it just turned to madness
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:06
lol
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:06
And they were impressed with the responses. Not a single bot dropped out :P
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:07
Looks like a thunderstorm is coming my way =\
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:08
Please sent it over here! We can use one!
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:08
we got 4 raindrops today
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:08
Heh we've had a couple lately, the humidity has been out of control
IN the last two weeks or so
August is moving in with a vengeance
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:09
It's been dry for like 2 months here. Maybe 1 small bit of rain.. that's it
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:09
Ah man that sucks
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:10
Luckily I live in the Netherlands. All our cables are deeply underground. So I rly don't mind a good storm hitting us here..
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:10
That's actually what I was about to type out
That I hope we don't lose power or something
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:11
Ye. That's one of the things I rly don't like about the US
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:11
I would like to head to the Netherlands sometime, where my family comes from
Yep, figured they would catch on but nah
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:11
Let me know when you do. I'd be happy to show you around
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:11
Like most American things, it's like an act of rebellion
"We're not gonna do that, just because. We know it works and it's better. But America"
Yeah that would be really cool I would like that
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:12
Ye. Same goes with fiber. It's pretty normal here, but not in the US
Smootimus

It's been a topic my SO and I have been talking about lately. I was debating another trip to South America but I don't wanna do something I've done already :eyes:
Oh the fiber situation makes my blood boil
There are MILES of fiber laid out
80% of it isn't even being used/activated
It's all laid out and just sitting there for municples
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:13
Ugh. Now that's just a waste!
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:13
a lot of cities here tried for fiber. they signed big, expensive contracts with ISPs who said they'd put in fiber, but instead just took money and made it so other ISPs couldn't compete
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:13
Yeah
That's why the Net Neutrality thing became a huge issue
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:14
i'm praying 5g will fix some of that
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:14
I mean, it has got to the point where communities have banded together and bought their own fiber
They laid it out and everything :|
Until the ISPs and lobbyist started their BS
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:14
i've seen some cool stuff with old tv (pre-digital) frequencies and municipal mesh networks
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:14
Yep, exactly. It's a terrible thing, and that's why it makes my blood boil
I was on a big fiber project laying out ADSS fiber and I just... couldn't believe how much was just there, doing nothing
Already there
And the demand for it is insane
Like on my Street!
I can SEE the fiber on the pole
I can SEE it...
I call for it...
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:16
"There isn't any active fiber on your street"

It's just faster than 99% of NL because most here are still at 500/500 while I'm at 750/750 lol
But to be fair.. when talking about these kind of speeds you hardly notice a difference between 500 or 750
Smootimus
@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:19
Yeah true
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:19
i'd love to see if i could tell the difference
let me try at least

@Smootimus
Jul 29 2018 02:19
LOL
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:19
lol
I only took the 750 cause I've got a server running here. For the uplink
"And what does your server do?" - Well uhm... nothing much. I use it to develop on :joy:

Yeah I was wanting to get a server/environment up and running here and been calling tryin gto get fiber for 2 years now living at this condo >.>
Doesn't seem like that gonna be happenin' :'(
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:24
i don't want to pay for a static ip
i've thought about it, though
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:24
In here fiber comes with a static ip by default
You can solve that with DynDNS I believe @thekholm80 Just install it on your server and it'll automaticly reroute your domain even if your ip changes
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:26
oh that's slick
i thought about setting up nodemailer to send me a message whenever my ip changes
but that's less than convenient
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:27
Ye but that won't help much. You'd still have to manually change your domain setttings and it can take up to 24 hours for the change to come in effect worldwide
Simply cause DNS is decentralized
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:27
oh, i wouldn't do all that - my server would be just for me
i don't need a domain or anything
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:28
In that case it doesn't matter that your ip changes, lol
You'll simply query your server through your internal network ip. The outside ip address won't affect you at all
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:29
the problem would be if i'm out and want to connect. either i ssh in to find it, or have it send me love notes when it's feeling lonely
well, no can't ssh if i don't know the address lol
i guess i'll just never leave the house
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:29
They address is most likely something like 192.168.1.## <-- depening on which one your router hands out to it
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:30
from inside, yes
not from outside
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:30
No. From the outside you need DynDNS. But for that to work, you'll need a domain
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:31
you mean i can't direct dial a public ip?
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:31
Your domain points to DynDNS and DynDNS syncs with the software on your server so it knows where to go
You can. But then you need to know which one it is :P
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:32
which brings me back to what i was saying :point_up: July 28, 2018 8:29 PM
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:33
Ye. Which is why I said that you'll need a domain for that :P
But a domain costs like 10 US dollars a year. You'll survive that :P
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 02:34
it's just such a hassle
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 02:35

I've a doubt regarding module imports in Angular 6. Initially when I have to use some external library say ngx-bootstrap's Date-picker, So previously I've to import the BsDatepickerModule as BsDatepickerModule.forRoot() in my AppModule and that's it I can access it across the app. But now in Angular 6, I have to provide BsDatepickerModule in each of my modules otherwise angular is throwing error say No provider....blah blah. Can any body tell me what I'm doing wrong?
My modules are LazyLoaded is that is the reason why I need to explicitly import in each module ?

Ugh.. I kinda forgot how much work it is to create a feature rich chatsystem..
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 14:20
hardly worth the effort?
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 14:23
Worth it in specific situations only:
  • You want your own chatsystem AND you know it's going to be used
  • You want to test your skills as you'll be coming across a LOT of problems that need to be solved
  • Someone is offering you a serious paycheck for it
So far all I got working is users being able to connect and join / leave 1 or more rooms. And obviously being able to send messages to those rooms
Kyle Holm
@thekholm80
Jul 29 2018 14:28
make sure you transmit all the user data to everyone
Bjorn van de Peut
@bjorno43
Jul 29 2018 14:28
Still need to add IM chat, user profiles, admin functions, admin panel etc etc
Oh ye of course!
Nah. I've checked. All that's visible on the websocket is the messages you see in the rooms you've joined and userlist / roomlist. Nothing else :P
Just for trolls I've actually added the username to a variable in JS. Gonna watch the idiots trying to modify it :joy:

Something like normally:

Username: Message

To:

Username (I tried modifying it to idiot, but now realised that doesn't work): Message :innocent:
