    constructor(animal, age, breed, sound){
        this.animal = animal;

        this.breed = breed;
        this.sound = sound;
    }

    speak(){
        console.log(this.sound);
    }

}

const newDog = new Pet ('KA', 25, 'Colin', 'woof woof');
const secondDog = new Pet ('Dog', 2, 'husky', 'yippeee, yippeee');
newDog.speak();
secondDog.speak();

i have to admit that i seems to rarely use framework / library ( unless is core lang or necessary ).. i often skip most lessons that leads to it... in my head there is fast loop switch that says ( 'should i learn it', 'maybe find other things first' ).. like having myself contemplating the decision.. this what makes me a less desirable dev i think because i know less than what most people do/use
i've been trying to learn React since last year.. and as far as i get is the front page of the documentation
Aditya
@ezioda004
Sep 28 2018 08:02
@diomed Does contributing to fcc counts for hacktoberfest? I've been contributing to the guides repo

@ezioda004 I think so. but not until next month :smiley_cat:
I think you could even apply for a t-shirt last year. Did you, maybe?
[that was not fcc related, that was Github related, I think]
Aditya
@ezioda004
Sep 28 2018 08:07
@psyperl I think the first step should be understanding why you need a library, this is a great course to understand JS patterns and the problems we end up facing if we dive into the code without planning. The course teaches the importance of MV* pattern from ground up, highly recommended to try and then when you try React or any framework you'll appreciate them
@diomed Thats fine, there are like 400+ challenges I'm writing guide for, a PR a day :D
I didnt do hacktoberfest last year
psyperl
@psyperl
Sep 28 2018 08:13
that is an advance course
Aditya
@ezioda004
Sep 28 2018 08:15
"advanced" is relative term, as long as you know basic JS (which I'm certain you do), you'll be fine. The course is free so you can check content yourself
psyperl
@psyperl
Sep 28 2018 08:16
why not this instead https://aws.amazon.com/certification/ ?
it's difficult to choose a learning path wew
psyperl
@psyperl
Sep 28 2018 08:25
i think fcc free courses is sufficient for me i have to restrict myself due to time constraint
i can do paid learning though
as in getting paid learning things :trollface:
now i understand .. seems like a motivational issue that i have
psyperl
@psyperl
Sep 28 2018 08:31
personal interest / goal,.. and if outside that scope would be project goal/values
and when i think about third parties libraries is that.. if they are not mature enough.. they won't be in a core language
while i found that there are bunch of things to learn on the core language already, my personal preference seems to have choose that path instead

<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

<main>
<p>Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.<p>
</main>

Thats the Code
You need 2 p elements with Kitty Ipsum text.
Passed
Make sure each of your p elements has a closing tag.
Passed
Your p element should contain the first few words of the provided additional kitty ipsum text.
Passed
Your code should have one main element.
The main element should have two paragraph elements as children.
Passed
The opening main tag should come before the first paragraph tag.
Passed
The closing main tag should come after the second closing paragraph tag.
And they are want that i do this .
but it wont work...
This part wont work = Make sure each of your p elements has a closing tag.
And this part wont work = The closing main tag should come after the second closing paragraph tag.

it says: Your code should have one main element.
The main element should have two paragraph elements as children.
so your second paragraph should be inside of main element
I mean, your first and second paragraph should be inside of it

Hey Guys i got a Question....
Here is my code :

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>

<main>
<p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

<a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

<p>Things cats love:</p>
<ul>
<li>cat nip</li>
<li>laser pointers</li>
<li>lasagna</li>
</ul>
<p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
<ol>
<li>flea treatment</li>
<li>thunder</li>
<li>other cats</li>
</ol>
<form action="/submit-cat-photo">
<input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">
<label for="indoor">Indoor</label>
<input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">
<label for="outdoor">Outdoor</label>

<input type="text" placeholder="cat photo URL" required>
<button type="submit">Submit</button>

</form>
</main>
And this is wrong:

Give your radio buttons the name attribute of indoor-outdoor.
Each of your two radio button elements should be nested in its own label element.
what did i wrong?

they want that i do this :
Give your radio buttons the name attribute of indoor-outdoor.
Each of your two radio button elements should be nested in its own label element.
But self in thier Video at FreeCodeCamp the Code is wrong...
psyperl
@psyperl
Sep 28 2018 19:55
the structure from you code is that you have the label 'after' the radio button
i think the instruction want you to have the radio button 'inside' the label
Add a pair of radio buttons to your form, each nested in its own label element.
/// this is label after the input
<input type='radio'>
<label></label>
and this code below is a radio button nested in its own label element
<!-- radio buttons nested in its own label element -->
<label>
  <input type='radio'>

so
