Hi all, How can I add onkeypress event on windown in React?
I’ve tried componentDidMount(){ window.onKeyDown = this.handleKeyPress; } but doesn’t work

@Atulsinghm 2-D arrays are accessed like that.
Suppose you have:

var arr = [[1, 2], [3, 4]];

Its an array containing other arrays, so to access [1, 2], you'd do arr[0] //[1, 2]. Now arr[0] is an array itself so you can access the elements inside it, so to access 2 in this array you'd do arr[0][1]

Using bracket notation select an element from myArray such that myData is equal to 8

So [2][1] is correct.

They can also end the cycle sending the response, when some condition is met. If they don’t send the response, when they are done they start the execution of the next function in the stack.

This would be a workaround although not a pretty one

I prefer to use SCSS instead of SASS as it is a proper superset of CSS and doesn't have such problems

so anything in the url like ?name=Chris&id=1234 will show up in the form of an object when passed through express to your endpoint in req.query
req.body, req.query, req.params are probably the most used properties of req when configuring endpoints

So by using the same format I did this
app
    .route('/name')
    .get((req, res) => {
        let firstname = req.query.first;
        let lastName = req.query.last;
    })
    .post((req, res) => {
        res.json({
            name: firstname + ' ' + lastName
        });
    });
But it doesnt work, why???

@Nirajn2311 you can concatenate the HTTP methods, but I like more to separate them, so I can see the routes better on my code.
somthing like
app.post('/name', middlewareFunction)

app.get('/name', middlewareFunction)

app.post('/some-other-route', middlewareFunction)
the middlewareFunction taking 3 arguments (request, response, [next]) or four if it is an error handler (error, request, response, next)

i have an API which gives me data in the form of an array, so now i want to put the data into a multiselecting list, but i need to have an id attached to each of the data
i.e
API provides ==> [ 'John', 'Doe', 'margot', 'robbie', 'Sharon','Stone']

i need it like {

@diomed me? I have used Jekyll themes for my Github pages, and some of them are really cool, you have the option of choosing theme where you enable the Github pages for your repository
