@Manish-Giri Yep i do

@nemonemo33 it works for me, perhaps try a different browser?
nemonemo33
@nemonemo33
@Manish-Giri Wait. You are getting JSON back or just the coords?
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
@nemonemo33 I didn't check the JSON, I thought you said your coords werent showing up
nemonemo33
@nemonemo33
@Manish-Giri No. I am not getting back data from the call to the weather API
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
@nemonemo33 see that lat and lon are not getting set correctly in the request
nemonemo33
@nemonemo33
Ahhh
Jalon Dodson
@JEDodson
Just finished basic algorithm scripting
How difficult is the jump from basic to intermediate
nemonemo33
@nemonemo33
@Manish-Giri DO you know why that might be?
Soham
@appfobia
@JEDodson Frankly is it a big leap . If this was a school or a university , basic and intermediate would have been taught in different semesters. So, you can imagine the wide gap. However if you are already familiar to programming, then this leap would not be so difficult for you.

@TanYiXun
Thanks
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
@nemonemo33 here's an idea - try preparing the URL before sending the request in the .getJSON() function, that should work.
I mean - the stuff about concatenating with lat and long and appID, do that before sending in the request
nemonemo33
@nemonemo33
Ahhh okay! Thank you @Manish-Giri I will give it a try

@omegga
@JEDodson some are tough, but the gap between interm and advanced is bigger in my opinion
nemonemo33
@nemonemo33
@Manish-Giri oh DUH i figured out why it isnt working. Technically when i redefine the lat/long it is held with in a function so later on when I call it it is pulling the prior undefined parts rather than the defined ones out of its scope
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
@nemonemo33 yep, looks that way

For example, if we wanted to move target4 from our right well to our left well, we would use:

$("#target4").appendTo("#left-well");
@kevindewbrown
Kevin Brown
@kevindewbrown
@cannelflow I used $("#target4").appendTo("#right-well");
cannelflow
@cannelflow
INSTRUCTION IS # Move your target2 element from your left-well to your right-well.
@kevindewbrown
Kevin Brown
@kevindewbrown
@cannelflow It's moved, but it's not inside of the right-well

@cannelflow
@kevindewbrown show your code
Kevin Brown
@kevindewbrown
$("#target2").appendTo("#right-well");

code is fine
$("#target2").appendTo("#right-well");

@kevindewbrown
@cannelflow Is it inside of the right-well
cannelflow
@cannelflow
@kevindewbrown yes #target2 moved from right -well to left-well
Kevin Brown
@kevindewbrown
I don't get why the code isn't working
Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri
@kevindewbrown follow these 2 steps
  1. Reset the current code using "reset" on the left
  2. Type in just one line as shown here
<script>
  $(document).ready(function() {
    $("#target1").css("color", "red");
    $("#target1").prop("disabled", true);
    $("#target4").remove();
    $("#target2").appendTo("#right-well"); //just add in this line

  });
</script>

<!-- Only change code above this line. -->

<div class="container-fluid">
  <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#left-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="left-well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target1">#target1</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target2">#target2</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target3">#target3</button>
      </div>
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#right-well</h4>
