@Wh1t3wAsp: This is an example of nesting:

<div class="hello">

In the ex, the img element is nested/placed inside the div with class hello

Hi guys! This is probably very simple, but I am new to coding and was wondering what they are asking here? It says your stylesheet should declare a red-text class and have its color set to red....
here is my code:

2

<style>
3
h2 {
4
color: red;
5
}
6
</style>
7

8

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
9

10

<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

hey, guys new here. I'm working on the CSS tutorial on freeCodeCamp and I'm a bit stuck. The instructions seem vague.
I have to insert a "font-size" attribute of 16px to all p elements, however, I can't create a new class just insert it to the existing style This is what I have

`

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

<p>
Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.
</p>`

@Gpx45 Just like creating the .red-text style, you need to create another style property
p{font-size: 16px;}

@Gpx45: You have to use the p element. Remember how you did this:

h2 {
 color: blue:
}

? h2 is also an element.

@abhijit360: Don’t worry about browser zoom. The example shows you how to add an style an element. The only difference is you want your p element (not your h2) to have the font-size of 16px;

@dawon7638
What am I doing wrong to not be able to "Between the style tags, give the p elements font-size of 16px. Browser and Text zoom should be at 100%."
