Hello, i am new to Javascript. However I have been writing some code and building some trivial webapps. I have one problem lately which puzzles me.

I want to hide credentials so they are not in a git repo. I am modifying a sample app which does do this. I put the credentials in a server.js file in a node/express setup. I created a route. In the original sample which is plain Javascript, I do a fetch/async/then bit of code. I get the json from the server /config route, but the timing is off. The original code which I call after I do the fetch gets hit before I get the result from the fetch. Any idea how this is done normally?

Hello, Anyone know chrome devtools? Its a neat tool. I'm having trouble at the moment though. Previously I was having breakpoints work in static .js files. now they are no longer working. Any assistance is appreciated. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1293964&q=-component%3APlatform%3EDevTools%3EJavaScript&can=2

@L-umen , at the bottom of the text window, click on the "M" icon with the little down arrow. If you click on that icon it will show you the Markdown help so you can format your posts.
gm !I am doing the probability calculator project in the Scientific Computing with python course and found weird things. The test_module.py in the replit seems to provide inappropriate test vriable " expected = ['red','blue'] " in the test_hat_draw fucntion. Morevover, the test_prob_experiment provide 0.274 as expected probability, but I got 0.241 after miliiions of draws. Is it wrong?
Can someone tell me what i've to do ......New to coding.
It said you should add two spaces. To the three child elements. Did you do that?

<input type="text" name="email">.

Add the name attribute with the value catphotourl to your text field.

There's another way to associate an input element's text with the element itself. You can nest the text within a label element and add a for attribute with the same value as the input element's id attribute.

Associate the text Loving with the checkbox by only nesting the text Loving in a label element and place it to the right side of the checkbox input element.

can anyone help me with this step
How far have you gotten? I will help but I want us both to do it. That way you will understand what did and why you did it.maha_faye_gitlab (muhammed faye)

Please i need some help putting this in order

Turn the words cat photos located inside p element into a link using the same value for the href attribute as the link below the p element. The p element should show the same text in the browser, but the words cat photos should now be a link. Make sure to remove the a element with the text cat photos on the line below the p element.
