well they are both investments of your time. They both accomplish the same things (if you add packages to react)

the best thing i learned after backbone was that i knew how to roll my own solution

cool, later

just seems like a steep cliff between personal, hobby project and enterprise level app

mern/mean is great and all, but it really feels like mean (+20 dependencies to handle what mean doesn't do out-of-the-box)

at my current role, i'm transitioning a spaghetti-code, patchwork app to angular

mainly just using angular for 2-way binding of templates right now, still letting jquery do most of the magic
