Aug 16 2018 00:51
ahh
prolly depends on what sorta features you'd want (im sure there's some nice react texteditors out there for more fancier stuff) but you'll need aplace to save all that sorta stuff

Can you spin it up in a codesandbox of codepen?
@sabin20 if no changes to the CSS are being applied you may have more specific selectors on the element, did you observe the styles in the dev tools?

Do they have stylesheets you import?
or did you clone the project? without seeing the code it still seems like some styles aren't being applied properly

Aug 16 2018 06:50
@tiagocorreiaalmeida i just discovered this thing http://jquerytimer.com/
how do i include the plugin in my project?
Tiago Correia
@tiagocorreiaalmeida
Aug 16 2018 06:54
You can place their cdn link on the codepen settings on the js part, still I think you should use setInterval in this situation
Aditya
@ezioda004
Aug 16 2018 08:33
@shivendrarox I'd also suggest using setInterval() instead, its very simple to use.

I'm trying to show navbar links on menu icon click, here's the code: https://codepen.io/Morched23MJ/pen/YjbOgw?editors=1100
What's considered as best practice to do that?

@moT01
Aug 16 2018 15:40
@shivendrarox looks real good
Number of Moves 12
Time Taken 36 Seconds
the you win graphic at the end feels a little dated
and it could use a little more responsiveness maybe
newmoon
@newmoon
Aug 16 2018 16:40
@Morched23MJ Too many best practices to list :) ranging from screen reader compatibility / accessibility, semantic HTML, and usability. Design-wise, you could also pop out a sidenav menu or a dropdown menu. Bootstrap tends to follow many of the best practices, and you can follow your own design with those in mind. It might be a good idea to look at their code to get a better idea.

Now trying to figure out a way to ease the display of that container, when I click on the menu icon.
I used Flex box to do it.
