On next page there is some shit thats standing above my header. I cant even find it anywhere in php document. It seems like its just number 1 with some spaces. Thats why header is moved downward.

In dev tools it shows me this -> https://i.gyazo.com/652916f033b6a40e32ad69d024abe46d.png

But this is my file: https://i.gyazo.com/46eb1e237e0df6f808f9539a6b30197b.png

no number 1 anywhere.

@bradley1492 fast solution for the black top-border seems to be to give the <header> a class of container. Still, when you put the h1 in a <div> with class row, for some reason it doesn't respect his container's padding.

@bradley1492 Check out startbootstrap.com for good examples of bootstrap templates

@tightcode nah, I like to learn the basics and do stuff by myself. I did used bootstrap when I was starting though, just already forgot it, it isn't necessary anymore :)

@tightcode for me man, it is not necessary for me. I am not really into popular stuff. You are more the preaching type, I am just speaking for myself
Still, solved his problem. What are you doing that is useful?

nothing at all! It is a very nice framework, I just don't like its complexity since I can get the job done without it

so here i made the .item to have a position absolute and the .container to be relative. but how do i make my .item with position relative to push the other elements from above it?
"to have his exlucive space"

i simply want other elements to not "collide on top" of my absolute one

@thodorisanta put the item outside the container if you want it to push down the container

@thodorisanta try removing position
Spyrantis Theodoros
@thodorisanta
Oct 08 2018 17:07 UTC
but im tried to have it inside the container. basically im trying to practice position property. And im trying to understand when you need(and when you should use) the position: absolute, and how to use it
Christopher McCormack
@cmccormack
Oct 08 2018 17:08 UTC
@thodorisanta well first put it in the container in your codepen then so we understand what you're doing
Spyrantis Theodoros
@thodorisanta
Oct 08 2018 17:11 UTC
@cmccormack ok, here it is and im simply trying to make the text near it to "wrap" around it instead of "hiding" behind it

Oct 08 2018 17:12 UTC
you mean like
.item {
  /* ... */
  float: left;
}
implies position: static; (default)
Spyrantis Theodoros
@thodorisanta
Oct 08 2018 17:13 UTC
okay... maybe i simply dont understand when absolute is needed..

Hey guys ! Could someone explain me the difference between pull and push mvc variants ?
thanks

i might not have the answers correct to this question... but... i think it is like pull being like taking something, or requesting something, like a database request, you'd pull information out of the database, and a push i would assume is it's opposite. So like you would insert something into the database.
