Thanks a lot, by the way, I am trying to move the calcultor to the bottom but setting in the calculator class align="bottom" or right does not work. Any idea? @wearenotgroot

@pringon
@Abel1987 try something like margin-top: xpx; or margin-bottom: -xpx; the align only works for center left and right as far as i know
Pedro Abel Díaz Sánchez
@coderHook
@pringon umm, is not what exactly I was looking for because If the screen is smaller the calculator gets out of it.
Goje Samuel Andrei Daniel
@pringon
then you could try using percentages
instead of pixels
not sure how well it works for height
but for width it works perfectly
yep
it should work
tried it on mine
i used a margin-top of about 27 percent
you can play around with it until it works for you

Hey, guys! Can enyone help me to figure out with some incomprehensible part of inheritance in javasript?
I have a Vehicle base class
and child Car class
var Car = (function (parent) {
Car.prototype = new Vehicle();
Car.prototype.constructor = Car;
function Car(year, make, model) {
parent.call(this, year, make, model);
this.wheelQuantity = 4;
}Car.prototype.getInfo = function () {
return 'Vehicle Type: Car ' + parent.prototype.getInfo.call(this);
return Car;
})(Vehicle);
why we use that "Car.prototype.constructor = Car;"
If it works whithout that expression?

@rusaym When you call new Vehicle, the constructor of car will actually lead to Vehicle, which people think means 'was constructed by'. It actually doesn't mean that at all. Prototypal inheritance is a complicated concept, and is very different to class based inheritance. I recommend reading this free book for a great explanation:

https://github.com/getify/You-Dont-Know-JS/tree/master/this%20%26%20object%20prototypes

But regarding your question, you don't need to include that line at all for what you are doing.

Hi
When working on the Weather project, codepen doesn't prompt me for geolocation permissions and am unable to display anything. Anyone faced the same problem?

@dshgna getCurrentLocation is disabled on insecure origins. Basically, you need to be using HTTPS for it to work. I would recommend using the coordinates of the IP address for this project.
Dulshani Gunawardhana
@dshgna
@HMAN1911 using the ipinfo API right?
Harry Aydin
@HMAN1911
@dshgna That one would be fine, but there are others out there :)

@dshgna
hints? :D
kirbyedy
@kirbyedy
@dshgna you have a typo there
@dshgna is the console returning the position for you ?
Dulshani Gunawardhana
@dshgna
@kirbyedy where exactly?
kirbyedy
@kirbyedy
are you getting the position in the console ?
Dulshani Gunawardhana
@dshgna
@kirbyedy as I've mentioned earlier, it doesn't display anything
kirbyedy
@kirbyedy
yes, because you have a typo
Dulshani Gunawardhana
@dshgna
where's the typo?
kirbyedy
@kirbyedy
lot = position.coords.longitude;
url = "api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather?lat="; + lat + "&lon=" + lon + "APPID=" + key;
and here you use lon
Dulshani Gunawardhana
@dshgna
thanks so much @kirbyedy for spotting.
