Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@ghcarrolljr So can you think of a way to access entries within an array?
@Zera99 link me the image please?
Gabriel
@Zera99

George Carroll
@ghcarrolljr
@cragsify arrayName[position]
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@ghcarrolljr ok ,so do that in your code. access the 2nd array, then the 2nd array again.
R. E. Daniels
@RDaniels34
@cragsify I know it doesn't work. That's why I came here to the chat.
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@RDaniels34 OK, I'd recommend putting the event listener in you JS and linkin to the element by reference to it's ID.
George Carroll
@ghcarrolljr
@cragsify ?
R. E. Daniels
@RDaniels34
@cragsify I'll give that a try....
wyattelliott
@wyattwade
@ronstarcool k fixed that issue
hajeansonne
@hajeansonne
Ok this may be another stupid question... for the portfolio zipline, do I HAVE to have a nav bar that stays at the top as you scroll down, or can i just have buttons that link to each section of the page
wyattelliott
@wyattwade
If anyone can beat this pleeasee let me know
George Carroll
@ghcarrolljr
@cragsify Waht is the first array? type
wyattelliott
@wyattwade
or if you have any criticism
ronald
@ronstarcool
good job @wyattwade
not sure :)
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@ghcarrolljr myPlants
wyattelliott
@wyattwade
@ronstarcool i thiiiiink i fixed the issue
did about 20 test runs
George Carroll
@ghcarrolljr
@cragsify so what is the second?
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@hajeansonne What do the user stories say.
ronald
@ronstarcool
y, you fixed it
nice gameflow!
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@ghcarrolljr If you use myPlants[1] then you are inside the 2nd element in the main array, then if you do [1], you will access the 2nd, 2nd element
hajeansonne
@hajeansonne
@cragsify I navigate to different sections of the webpage by clicking buttons in the navigation, by "in the navigation" do they mean nav bar?
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@ghcarrolljr
myPlants[1][1]
@hajeansonne That's open to interpretation i suppose.
wyattelliott
@wyattwade
@ronstarcool thank you man

Craig Banach
@CraigBanach

George Carroll
@ghcarrolljr
@cragsify thanks
Caleb Martin
@caleb272
how do you put multiple style elements into a inline style like this style="margin-top: 40px"
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@caleb272 leave a space between them.
@caleb272 although it is bad practice.
Caleb Martin
@caleb272
o ok
i guess i will just create a css element
Craig Banach
@CraigBanach
@caleb272 I would advise it :D
Lanitta
@DivaWeb
