@GregatGit actually i am unable to create logic to sort online and offline ,,,,can u look at on my code or how can do it,,,
@ajaybti are you unable to tell if the channel is offline?
@meghanasarikonda change view to Full Page, open Chrome -> dev tools -> console - and you'll see an error "getCurrentPosition() and watchPosition() are deprecated on insecure origins. To use this feature, you should consider switching your application to a secure origin, such as HTTPS. See https://goo.gl/rStTGz for more details."
@ajaybti check the image
Hi. Would appreciate if someone could take the time to take a quick look at my tic tac toe project. I want to know how to invoke the winningFunc (which determines winning combinations) by passing the choiceArray to it (which keeps a record of a 'computer' or 'user' choice in individual boxes). Thanks. http://codepen.io/jask/pen/xVaZQM?editors=0010
@jask84 That winningFunc looks bit wrong to me since it doesn't test for if its the user who wins or the computer... it would say you win even though the computer won
Hmm but maybe i'm wrong
@alpox your totally right. I just want it to at least reset the board first and then I can add everything else in
@jask84 I don't really get what your problem is. Can you specify?
@alpox basically I have tried to invoke the winningFunc within the computerFunc and userFunc, to test winning combos from the choiceArray. However, I have tried to invoke the winningFunc in each function respectively after updating the choiceArray, but I cant get it workng. I wonder if my syntax is wrong and/or my layout of my code is incorrect in terms of how I am going through the process (computerFunc, which changes/adds to variables, then invokes userFunc click handler which I then need to switch off, and then back to computerFunc and so on).
@alpox so if you click three boxes in a row, you will see that nothing happens. It does not reset the game
@alpox also, just wanted your quick opinion on whether the way I am doing it is the best way? Because I have a feeling my click handler really isnt the most efficient way. But if youre busy, no worries. Appreciate the help
I can not will do this.
@Kuklus23 What do you need help on?
@jask84 You can put the click event for .box outside of the userfunc, otherwise you will add one each time userfunc is called. Thats why you even had to use .off
@Kuklus23 There are numbers? :D which one is it by name?
@natertot12 problem with JS for navbar and with css
@Kuklus23 Can you post your codepen? or your code
@alpox "Build a Personal Portfolio Webpage"
@Kuklus23 Navbar: Usually a problem with including bootstrap js right. There has to be jquery first in the list, and then bootstrap
