Protsac
@Protsac
oh snap. is that it?!
it's not just that @pprzytula :\ I've changed it and it's still a mess.
Can you spot any mistake on the code?
I don't know why it is behaving so
hmm - I think I spotted it. I had a fixed width for the middle box
Paweł Przytuła
@paprzytula
There is one thing which I don't like in the codepen.io - i didn't find any tag highlighting in a html editor
Protsac
@Protsac
well, I'm only using it because FCC recommended it.
haven't found any nuisance yet, but then again I haven't got very far code-wise
Paweł Przytuła
@paprzytula
@Protsac now it looks much better

@ctataru
@pprzytula the game is great! i tried using flexbox but i'm getting results like this: http://codepen.io/wise/pen/PNBopg?editors=1100
do you think i'm not getting the desired result because flex's interaction with bootstrap?
EugeneSvinolupov
@EugeneSvinolupov
@Protsac remove width: 1200px from box1 in css
Protsac
@Protsac
yeah, that's what I did @EugeneSvinolupov . thanks! @pprzytula

@Protsac
I still haven't got the hang of it
should my columns number sum make 12?
Paweł Przytuła
@paprzytula
@Protsac yes
Protsac
@Protsac
say I make 3 - 6 - 3 in that current design. if the right one comes down, then it means my browser won't support that design?
Paweł Przytuła
@paprzytula
I'd rather say that you have too much things in a column
Protsac
@Protsac
it's just that text. I had to put 3 - 5 - 3 and it's fine now

@jessescottburns
Hi all. Having trouble with a javascript loop and a JSON failure function. I'm sure it has something to do with the order the items are being processed, but I can't figure it out.
Protsac
@Protsac
a little uneven on the borders, but that's cool
Jesse Burns
@jessescottburns
See the javascript and look at the JSON failure function. I can't get the name to assign based on the counter of the for loop. I entered a comment on where it is showing the user as undefined or pulling the last name in the array.
I realize I could easily solve this by separating the JSONs into two different calls, but don't know if there is an easier way to just grab the name out of the array that the URL is based off of.

@Legend28469
Greetings. Can someone tell me why my panel isn't “collapsing”. I’m using React-Bootstrap if that helps

@essdoubleu
Hey guys, can someone tell me why my paragraph isn't showing up...? I'm probably missing something insanely simple. http://codepen.io/ScottW/pen/dMqpmE
Frank XC
@tenkdayz
@essdoubleu found it.

@ewathedoer
@essdoubleu you have nabber position fixed
when you turn it on your p is visible
btw have a look at your last divs they are still open
Jon Garrard
@jgarrard
@essdoubleu You're paragraph is actually showing up, it is just hidden behind your navbar. If you remove navbar-fixed-top you will see your paragraph text.
Paweł Przytuła
@paprzytula
@essdoubleu you can add "navbar-text" to the nav and your div will show up
Patrick Black
@Mortiferr
Anyone tell me why the weather won't show up?
Jon Garrard
@jgarrard
@essdoubleu The reason the fixed navbar hides your paragraph is a fixed element won't be in the flow of your content. So now your first paragraph is acting like it is the first element on the page and the navbar sets itself on top of all the other stuff on the page. If you want to keep the navbar fixed, you can add paddding-top:50px to the container class. This will push down your paragraph so it is not hidden anymore.

One last issue on my Twitch stream before I'm ready to get submitted here

http://codepen.io/johndsykes86/pen/MyQbYe

I have the two offline accounts here but only one shows up. I'm trying to have all the deleted acounts show up after my last offline user. If i switch it to .before, they both show up. is this as designed because of the :last-child selector?
