@essdoubleu you have nabber position fixed
when you turn it on your p is visible
btw have a look at your last divs they are still open
Jon Garrard
@jgarrard
@essdoubleu You're paragraph is actually showing up, it is just hidden behind your navbar. If you remove navbar-fixed-top you will see your paragraph text.
Paweł Przytuła
@paprzytula
@essdoubleu you can add "navbar-text" to the nav and your div will show up

@Mortiferr
Anyone tell me why the weather won't show up?
Jon Garrard
@jgarrard
@essdoubleu The reason the fixed navbar hides your paragraph is a fixed element won't be in the flow of your content. So now your first paragraph is acting like it is the first element on the page and the navbar sets itself on top of all the other stuff on the page. If you want to keep the navbar fixed, you can add paddding-top:50px to the container class. This will push down your paragraph so it is not hidden anymore.

One last issue on my Twitch stream before I'm ready to get submitted here

http://codepen.io/johndsykes86/pen/MyQbYe

I have the two offline accounts here but only one shows up. I'm trying to have all the deleted acounts show up after my last offline user. If i switch it to .before, they both show up. is this as designed because of the :last-child selector?

Hey guys, I need some help. I have a function that is logging this.id correctly, but for some reason I can't store it as a variable properly. Anyone know why this might be happening?
the function is playButton, which is called every time a button is clicked

@tenkdayz
@pwcsquared use $(this)
Patrick
@pwcsquared
@tenkdayz $(this).attr("id") ?
Frank XC
@tenkdayz
@pwcsquared yeah that might work.
Patrick
@pwcsquared
It didn't, it still returns the whole element for some reason

I'm stuck in one little thing: when any link on my website is clicked twice, it stays highlighted with some class, perhaps focus. How to disable it from navbar? I already tested many options, but none of them helped: http://codepen.io/pprzytula/pen/mPLGeP

Hey guys, need some help with CSS. The 'Contact' section has the text shifted to the right for some reason, while the other elements of the same class are center. This is only visible on 1920x1080 devices and not 1366x768 devices. What might be the problem here?

can anybody tell me why my canClick variable isn't working?
Patrick
@pwcsquared
@shkurata for some reason that worked, but if I just remove the whole if statement and just set btnName = this.id it doesn't work anymore.
ok now it's working...
@shkurata Thank you!

@pprzytula Nothing of that sort happened when I tested it.
PS: Try using some other website for hosting your 'seflie' image. Pinterest works great for me. Your dropbox image ain't working.

Anyone tell me why I can't get the api call to work?
Kartik Shah
@krtk6160
@pprzytula Yes, I see it. It becomes normal once I click in the area outside of the navigation bar. Sorry, I've no idea what might be causing this, I'm a noob.
Frank XC
@tenkdayz
@Mortiferr why arent you using navigator.geolocation ?
Patrick Black
@Mortiferr
@tenkdayz that way users don't have to allow location use, I just use their ip
@tenkdayz More creepy, yes, but easier as far as the end user goes
@tenkdayz But that's not the issue. The issue is the weather API call doesn't seem to be working
Alex Coder

                "<br>Longitude: " + position.coords.longitude + "<h4>"; )
