@pwcsquared , try to remove the '!' from the if statement
Kartik Shah
Hey guys, need some help with CSS. The 'Contact' section has the text shifted to the right for some reason, while the other elements of the same class are center. This is only visible on 1920x1080 devices and not 1366x768 devices. What might be the problem here?
Michael Karpinski
can anybody tell me why my canClick variable isn't working?
@shkurata for some reason that worked, but if I just remove the whole if statement and just set btnName = this.id it doesn't work anymore.
ok now it's working...
@shkurata Thank you!
pwcsquared sends brownie points to @shkurata :sparkles: :thumbsup: :sparkles:

@pprzytula Nothing of that sort happened when I tested it.
PS: Try using some other website for hosting your 'seflie' image. Pinterest works great for me. Your dropbox image ain't working.
Nikolay Neykov
@pwcsquared , I'm glad that I helped :)

@krtk6160 try to click twice on "my little portfolio" and then scroll down. link stays highlighted
Patrick Black
Anyone tell me why I can't get the api call to work?
Kartik Shah
@pprzytula Yes, I see it. It becomes normal once I click in the area outside of the navigation bar. Sorry, I've no idea what might be causing this, I'm a noob.
Frank XC
@Mortiferr why arent you using navigator.geolocation ?
Patrick Black
@tenkdayz that way users don't have to allow location use, I just use their ip
@tenkdayz More creepy, yes, but easier as far as the end user goes
@tenkdayz But that's not the issue. The issue is the weather API call doesn't seem to be working
Alex Coder
  function getLocation() {
    if ( navigator.geolocation ) {
      navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition( showPosition );
    } else {
        $("data").html("<h4> Geolocation is not supported by this browser. </h4>");
  }//getLocation() end

function showPosition( position ) {
    $("data").html( "<h4>Latitude: " + position.coords.latitude +
                "<br>Longitude: " + position.coords.longitude + "<h4>"; )
receive syntax error: missing ) after argument list
I am looking for some help with subtraction on the calculator app
sorry @pprzytula , I had logged out
I overhauled the entire thing, it was too messy having 3 columns
Paweł Przytuła
I've been thinking about flow around an image
in the middle
@jkid314159 what is $("data")? class or id or something else?
Can I get a push in the right direction with subtracting numbers
@jkid314159 and ; after <h4>
@jkid314159 remove ; after </h4> tag
Alex Coder
@Guru89 id
  <div id="data">
    <h4>You are here:</h4>
@jkid314159 then it should start with $("#data")
link me your code pen
Nikolay Neykov
People, I need some feedback
Alex Coder
@Guru89 in JSFiddle
was that to me @pprzytula ? "i've been thinking about flow around an image"
Paweł Przytuła
@Protsac yes, but doesn't matter anymore since you have redesigned all
yeah. I still need that though
I don't really know what I want anyway. I'm just fiddling around with the code and see whether I learn something from it lol
Paweł Przytuła
just like me
Alex Coder
