function diffArray(arr1, arr2) {

 var sliced = arr1.slice(0,1);
  var f = parseInt(sliced);

  if  (arr2.indexOf(f) > -1)
    {
      return arr2;
    }

  var filtered = arr1.filter(diffArray);

}

diffArray([1, 2, 3, 5], [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]);

I need help with Random Quote Machine. I want to get an initial random quote when I open the pen, but it's blank. http://codepen.io/JuanLrr/pen/QEAGgp
Pedro Abel Díaz Sánchez
@coderHook
@MohammadHasham Basically you are not doing what they are asking, sliced contains a whole array but you should have only the difference between both arrays
@MohammadHasham from my point of view, it would be easy if you compare both array with a for loop
then, at the point you get a difference you can slice that piece of array as you were doing or even better, store the different value in a new array

@MohammadHasham
@coderHook even tried that u mean a nested one!
Pedro Abel Díaz Sánchez
@coderHook
didn't work?

@gbsimon87
Go Alfie!
Good to hear hes making a sound recovery :)
@wilcombebolger your title should go inside your head element
You've also got an open h1 tag
your css is also referencing an id named ul, but it doesn't exist, if you want to target the ul (unorganized list), remove the '#'

@wilcombebolger That's the best tribute page subject I've seen yet!
Hi guys, I'm having trouble finishing the local weather project because of the changing background image user story. This is my pen:
No matter how I do it, the picture always ends up covering the other info on the page or not being full screen, which is what I'm aiming for. Any thoughts or ideas?
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
@wbac88 Have you tried making the image a background image via css?
William Cabell
@wbac88
I did, but something wasn't working with it, which is how I ended up with what I have now, found on csstricks.com
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
$("html").css("background-image", 'url(' + imgurl + ')');
William Cabell
@wbac88
Hmm, ok I'll try that out!
@sjames1958gm Could you give an example with a random URL in there?
NM, I have this: $("html").css("background-image", "url('https://static.pexels.com/photos/110874/pexels-photo-110874.jpeg')");
is the punctuation right?
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
@wbac88 I don't think you need the single quotes
My single quotes were there because I was concatenating a variable
William Cabell
@wbac88
It ends up commenting it out if I have double quotes in there
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
$("html").css("background-image", "url(https://static.pexels.com/photos/110874/pexels-photo-110874.jpeg)")
William Cabell
@wbac88
Ahh, ok, that's what I was missing, I see what you mean. I'll try it.
It's not showing up as a background. Just white
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
hmm
William Cabell
@wbac88
I've been working on this for weeks, I can't get anything to show up right, I don't understand it.
Luis Felipe López G.
@luishendrix92
@wbac88 Try with body instead of html
Stephen James
@sjames1958gm
@wbac88 I see the bottom of the image
@luishendrix92 :+1:
