@djangoearnhardt
@TheTessaMurphy ahhh, i think i’ve updated the locations for my requests… and it won’t load into my <span>’s. i haven’t used .on(“load”) before, but I thought it was set up to work
Tessa
@TheTessaMurphy
@djangoearnhardt How come you're using onload instead of document.read?
sorry, meant document.ready.

@djangoearnhardt

@yaycupcake The grid doesn't work how I want it to work. Whenever I tried positioning things next to each other, it just placed them under or above each other. So I had to do it the tedious way. For instance, if I wanted two pictures to be horizontally next to each other using col-md-1, it just put one image below the other. From my experience, the grid is woefully inefficient. I feel like I'm doing something wrong with it though.
Tessa
@TheTessaMurphy
@djangoearnhardt Very cool.
yaycupcake
@yaycupcake
@JoshDeNovice You should try giving the images the class img-responsive. Also, if you have those three images and you want only them to be i that row, you should use .col-md-4 so they each take up 4 out of the 12 columns of the grid.

@p4ran0id-sch1z0
@yaycupcake Alright, I try it out and see how it goes.

@joshfilippi
Hi everyone, This may seem like a basic question.. How do i embed an image (file from my laptop) into my tribute page on codepen? when using a text editor to create html, the image must be in the same directory. How does this work with codepen? Thanks
Tessa
@TheTessaMurphy
@joshfilippi I use cloudinary.com and use the url they create for the image. So, for instance, src=http://res.cloudinary.com/image/upload/v1478591406/11d.jpg. You sign up with them (it's free) and upload your images
Josh
@joshfilippi
Thank you! :) I'll check out cloudinary.com
