@F22rapt
i wonder at what point nesting divs gets to be too much..guess ill find out
Aiden
@AidenMead
@sorinr I see the JSON.parse, but it's still not pulling up results for me? (i went in and changed the link to http, as well, as you suggested, not sure why it keeps defaulting to that)
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@F22rapt use divs as major wraps for a group of components that belongs together. think at the <form> tag as a div wrap

@sorinr
@AidenMead don't you get an alert with the city you get from the api?
Aiden
@AidenMead
I do get the alert, I realized after looking a bit more that that was the intention. But changing everything, i still can't get results to show.
Aman saxena
@neille2406
what is clear used for?
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@AidenMead what browser are u on?
Aiden
@AidenMead

@AidenMead and did you allowed ff to use ur location? tried it also on ff and its working: take a look:
Aiden
@AidenMead
@sorinr Oh, yeah! Sorry, I was totally misunderstand. I did accept and allow. It brings up the alert for me. What I'm finding though, it that if I take that same concept of data access and try to apply it to show, let's say, the current temp. That's where I can't get results.
Thomas McGuire
@mcguiretj
Trying to figure out why javascipt will not show up on my weather application...http://codepen.io/mcguiretj/pen/zovbqZ
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@AidenMead then why didn't you said u said that. just reload my pen and look into the console and to the pen ofc
Aiden
@AidenMead
Well, I have a few answers to that, but I'll skip them because it's not worth it. Nothing it loading into the console. Regardless of whether I input console.log(response) or not. So I'm not getting any data to allow me to know what's parsing to allow me to accurately access it. I don't know if it's logging data in the console for you or not, but it's not for me.
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@mcguiretj You have some variable and scope issues it appears. I'm seeing this in the console: Uncaught SyntaxError: Identifier 'location' has already been declared(…).
Also, temperature not tempature :)
Thomas McGuire
@mcguiretj
I will change that. Thank you very much Tyler @TylerMoeller

@sorinr
@AidenMead you get into the console log all the response object structure. by consoling the temperature and city i have showed you how you can access the response object. why do you say its not worth it?
@AidenMead have you refreshed this pen example ?
Aiden
@AidenMead
@sorinr Just saw the refresh now. I have no idea why it wasn't showing when I coded that in
Aman saxena
@neille2406

Sorin Ruse

@Thayyebsalim html5 no longer support that kind of tags.

@GitLub
Hey guys, is there a place where I can see the material for the challenges I've done so far? I mean, I just got to my first project(tribute page) and it feels like I suddenly forgot everything I studied and Id like to recap without going through all the challenges again one by one.
Aman saxena
@neille2406
how to navigate on the same page?
@GitLub u can use the map!!!
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@neille2406 searach google for inline page links
Ken Haduch
@khaduch
@GitLub - if you look at the top of your freecodecamp homepage (freecodecamp.com/gitlub probably) you'll see all of the work that you've done so far. You can review, you can go back to the "Map" option and see everything there, too.
Aman saxena
@neille2406
ok @sorinr
GitLub
@GitLub
Hmm, doesn't seem very intuitive, so I'll have to go challenge by challenge again to recap it all
