Helle people, do you guys know how can i put a backgroune music on my tribute page please
@neille2406 generally is repeat is used, it's referring to a background image, one that you wouldn't want to stretch but also is not big enough to cover the whole background. For example, say my background image is of a pattern, so nothing like a picture of something. And I fill the page with content and have more content to go, but my background image is only so big. I can repeat the image below the original so that when I scroll, there's enough background image to stay behind the content. Here's some more info about that http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-repeat.asp
@GitLub - yeah, there isn't an easy way just to page through everything that you've done. I like to open my freecodecamp page, and then click on a link, it opens in a new tab, and then just come back to the home page afterward. I wish that there was a "next" and "previous" link sometime to just go from item to item.
@khaduch yeah...it's popping tabs all over the place here..
Afternoon all, I am using an svg in my weather app. And I’d like the span it’s contained in to be centered. Can anyone advise what CSS I could use to get this positioned correctly. (it’s the snowsuit in this example) http://codepen.io/djangoearnhardt/pen/aBdpgG/
even i would like to lean these small projects anyone willing to team up?
@arvkh I'd recommend using the grid system. In your row div tag include column 3, column 6, column 3. With your text inside column 6.
@arvkh he wasn't talking about text-justify. He was talking about text-align: justify and that's like css 2 - supported -.-
All of the columns in the grid system must add up to 12. So col-md-3 is 1/4 the width of the row and col-md-6 is 1/2 the width of the row.
@TUcode don't use too many font size plus italics with such a big font-size doesn't look good.otherwise it's quite good
@TUcode & fix your tags ;P
@kat-mag@neille2406 Yep my tags are mixed to much i will try to document(coment) from now
Thank you Aman
@TUcode btw, your image's squished. Don't specify the dimensions like that. Give it a width or height 100% and it'll size itself accordingly
hmmm, I wanted to be specific size, Thank you
@kat-mag i used only CSS not bootstrap. if was difficult to adapt myself with bootstrap syntax
maybe because it was my first time
We're not doing pixel perfect designs anymore :D you can use percents & ems when you size stuff
so your picture for example, won't be cut off when you change the size of your window
or when you open it up on mobile
@TUcode if someone uses it in mobile to see ur page ,there the image might be a problem so use % more
But + for doing in css only! Boostrap's evil ;d
Hey guys I'm working on the Random Quote Generator project and using bootstrap. I'm confused about why the background image on my footer, within the container, isn't spanning across the entire container? I'm pretty new to CSS, help or advice to fix it or a better way to build it would be much appreciated http://codepen.io/Koolhany/pen/KNdRRo
