I am having trouble with a couple of things starting my tribute page. The first is probably simple, just changing the color of my title. The second is putting two columns next to one another. http://codepen.io/dadleatherwood/pen/KazaLQ
@uriznik tweetquote button tweets populate tweet with html elements and an additional codepen url i am not sure where it is coming from
@shenoyabhijith its working after you make the first quote call
@shenoyabhijith because when you load the pen your var tweet = $('#getMessage').text(); is empty
why wont background-image: url(images/FinalGInal.png); work at all for importing an image?
@DarylKnapp it will probably work on your localhost but not on codepen. on codepen your url must point to an external resource. you have to upload that img some place and put that url in there
@sorinr Hey! im on my localhost, im not on codepen
do i still have to declare with in html as well?
@DarylKnapp if you look into the dev tools can u see if the img was loaded or not?
@DarylKnapp because it maybe a relative path to the image problem or if it correctly loads but not showing it means you have to give to the element for witch you aplay that background-image some width and height
@DarylKnapp if you placed it in html using an <img> tag its not the same as declaring it as background-image. the img tag will try to accommodate the space provided by his parent container while background-image applied to the parent container will try to take full width/height of it depending also on other properties like background-size: cover or fill etc
