Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@Stjose In the Codepen HTML panel, click the down arrow in the top, right-hand corner and select "Analyze HTML". There are some issues to address.

I find organizing things on a page to be the most difficult thing so far....Like creating a chunk of text on some background and then a new chunk of text on a different background...I think its because I don't really understand the row and col parts very well

@DarylKnapp

@DarylKnapp use margin instead of position
DarylKnapp
@DarylKnapp
@Printhe how big should i make it or how small?
RJ
@IronyOfRyan
margin: 0 auto;
DarylKnapp
@DarylKnapp
@Printhe still doesnt fix my issue.
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@DarylKnapp By position: center I think you mean to use background-positionhttp://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-position.asp
DarylKnapp
@DarylKnapp
@TylerMoeller whoops! yeah that's what i ment, but still I have the same issue.
Tyler Moeller

Guys, how can I add image on my page if it's located d:/Images/me.jpg. Problem is that picture isn't added
Jose Irizarry
@Stjose
I got stuck with this The 'alt' attribute is required for <img> elements.
<div class="thumbnail"><img src="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31fAAZIGjtL.jpg"></div>
thi is my code
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@NastyaSh454 You can upload it to https://postimage.org
@Stjose alt is alternative text for the image, here is more information: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_img_alt.asp
Just add alt="some text that describes the image" (for example)

Hello911
@Hello911
http://codepen.io/Hello911/pen/ygOQwp?editors=1100 I have this problem with my welcome section of the web page. One, it is partially blocked by the navigation bar. Two, I want to make that section the height of the screen.
Francois van Leersum
@Blockshot12
@Hello911 Your navbar is ‘blocking’ the header because your navbar position is fixed.
a couple of questions….why use flexbox if you already use bootstrap?
or why use bootstrap if you want to use flexbox?
Hello911
@Hello911
@Blockshot12 I don't know alot about Bootstrap is so I might be kinda confused in its usage. How would you solved my problem though. I want the nav bar to be fixed when people scroll through the page. But I don;t wan it to block either.
Francois van Leersum
@Blockshot12
@Hello911 You need to give the element containing ‘welcome’ and 'This is David’s portfolio page’ margin-top: 50px;or what ever height your navbar is.
@Hello911 But I’m looking at your code and I’m a little bit confused.
