I know this is cheating but can someone answer something for me? I got super lost on what to do so I took a look at the example but in the example it refers to data alot in the js/angular. I dont see Data defined anywhere? what is it referring to? http://codepen.io/freeCodeCamp/pen/bELRjV
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@MohammadHasham you don't need the doc.ready just function name(){}

@sbxn14
as I now know how to actually refer to my ip api and my weather api I still dont know what its doing exactly, and I'd like to know that so I can learn from it
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@sbxn14 the ip api callreturns you the city that you are using later in constructing the url for the weather api to retrieve thge weather for that city
Sander Berntsen
@sbxn14
so the $scope.data refers to the api's?
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@sbxn14 the $scope.data its like defining local variables available only for ng-app. this is the way you refer variables in an angular app
Sander Berntsen
@sbxn14
yea I knew that but I was just wondering as it referred to data.something and I didnt see data defined anywhere
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@sbxn14 with this $scope.Data = {}; its like var myvarr = {}; then you add keys and values to it like myvarr.city = responsefromapi.city and so on
Sander Berntsen
@sbxn14
thanks @sorinr

@bwongcodes
Hello, just wondering if anyone knew how i could make my text non transparent
https://codepen.io/bwongcodes/pen/egROdR
appreciate the help, thankyou!
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@bikalkhawas if you console.table(apiData) you will see they are slightly different but because of the mathround function you see same values
Bikal Khawas
@bikalkhawas
@sorinr on calling API directly in browser also raw data looks the same.Looks like there is no need to mention min and max temperature.
Sorin Ruse
@sorinr
@bikalkhawas for me there is only 0.6 degree of difference

@sorinr
@bwongcodes use background: rgba(0,0,0,.5); instead of opacity: 0.5

@MohammadHasham is x a variable?
Muhammad Hasham
@MohammadHasham

/** Javascript File **/
document.addEventListener("keydown",function(x){
var key = document.querySelector("audio[data-key=x]");
console.log(key);
});

Hey, my function doesn't get triggered when I press the enter key? Why is that?
$('#search-bar').bind("enterKey",function(e){
  $('#random-button').fadeOut("slow");
  $( '#search-bar').animate({
    top: "-200px"
  }, 1000, function() {
   // Animation complete.
 });

});
$('#search-bar').keyup(function(e){
  // if enter is pressed
    if(e.keyCode == 13)
    {
        $(this).trigger("enterKey");
    }

});
Clyde Lobo
@oppiniated
Since you are doing a string interpolation and need to use instead of"` for it
Muhammad Hasham
@MohammadHasham
it is returning me a null
