@VanAmoVe This is the difference for me - the one on the left uses the code I gave, the one on the right is the original. All it does is center the background:
I'm going through some of the responsive challenges now, so can't help too much on fixing your text (yet)
lastix
@lastix
Hi guys, stupid question probably but. I'm trying to set a full height/width background image for the body. But when i add anything to my page, the page get's longer and i see a scrollbar? Like, even a single h1 makes a scrollbar appear. Why is this happening?
aenila
@aenila
background-size: 100% is what I used on the Local Weather challenge and it worked fine for me. Perhaps that will work?
Cristina Jean Donato
@cristinajeandonato
@lastix try styling the body to overflow: hidden; margin: 0;
lastix
@lastix
@cristinajeandonato fixed it, seems like the h1 margin caused the problem. Did it only caused a problem because it was on the edge of the viewport?

@ghulamshabir
hello dear campers please review my wikipedia viewer project http://codepen.io/ghulamshabir/full/GrvLrE/
Cristina Jean Donato
@cristinajeandonato
@thedodwellemporium you place the style pink-text within body style which is causing the error
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@lastix @cristinajeandonato overflow:hidden will make it so you cannot scroll your page, so be sure that's what you want on smaller screens. To visualize what's going on, try giving a different background color to html:
html {
  box-sizing: border-box;
  background-color: black;
}

}
</style>

Hi! I need help with the "Build a Wikipedia Viewer". My codepen is finished, but it doesn't search through some queries. For example, it finds paris, moscow, a, church, holy, vladimir, but it fails to find other titles, like putin, holy roman etc...there must some kind of mistake, eigher in getting JSON or maybe some mistakes happens when JSON is used to make outputs... here is my codepen, much appreciated if you can find a mistake. http://codepen.io/YariSPB/pen/dOEovJ

anybody? :)
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@ghulamshabir Nice work - it would be good to make it responsive. the Text + icon in the navbar overlap on smaller screens and the images overlap the text in the search results. Plus, the images are very small. For your JS, your api and url variables don't need to be global and there's no need to have both a submit and a keypress event listener.

@ErezT

Working on tweeting a quote, it worked when i used a hardcoded text, however when i try to add the url + encodedURI it doesn't work. Any ideas?

https://codepen.io/oldmanwithbeer/pen/rjMLLW?editors=1011

Ghulam Shabir
@ghulamshabir
@kirbyedy yeah I realized it works only for once, I will check it again
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@YariSPB It seems that some of the searches return results without a thumbnail image, so your for loop runs into errors on pages[i].thumbnail.source. You should check if that property exists before trying to get the value
Ghulam Shabir
@ghulamshabir
@kirbyedy thank you for catching that
