No problem, how can we help?
Joakim Vercaemst

<p data-height="265" data-theme-id="0" data-slug-hash="xgLNmY" data-default-tab="html,result" data-user="Jverc" data-embed-version="2" data-pen-title="Personal Portfolio WebPage" class="codepen">See the Pen <a href="http://codepen.io/Jverc/pen/xgLNmY/">Personal Portfolio WebPage</a> by Joakim Vercaemst (<a href="http://codepen.io/Jverc">@Jverc</a>) on <a href="http://codepen.io">CodePen</a>.</p>

<script async src="https://production-assets.codepen.io/assets/embed/ei.js"></script>

how can I show you what I have?
sennator
@sennator2
give link to your codepen @Jverc
as you can see the 2 images under the homer simpson one are very large
Hello911
@Hello911

var Car = function(wheels, seats, engines) {
  //Change this constructor
  this.wheels = 4;
  this.seats = 5;
  this.engines = 1;
};

//Try it out here
var myCar = new Car(6, 3, 1);
Why doesn't my code work? I checked it multiple times. The window is not displaying 6 wheels, 3 seats, and 1 engines.
Joakim Vercaemst
@Jverc
and I thought that with putting the div class="container" with max-height and max-width to 10%; the images would be smaller; but they seem to stay the same
sennator
@sennator2
give your image divs height and width you want
and give it object-fit : contain or cover

@Mortiferr

okay, so if you take a look at my code, I'm trying to get it so that when the variable units equals the variable metric it prints it where the F is right now
sennator
@sennator2
depending what you want
Hello911
@Hello911
<img height=40px width=30px>
try this
Joakim Vercaemst
@Jverc
directly in the html?
is there no way to do this in the css?
sennator
@sennator2
@Jverc in css
Hello911
@Hello911
@Jverc Make a class. and
put in your div class containing in image
.size{
width=3px;
height=5px;
}
<div class=size></div>
Joakim Vercaemst
@Jverc
that is similar to how I have it now
<div class="container-fluid">
<div class="container responsive">
<div class="col-xs-6 img-responsive img-portfolio">
<img src="http://www.coloradocreativedesigns.com/images/portfolio.png"/>
</div>
and I made this in css
.container {
width: 10px;
height: 10px;
}
so I suppose the second div class (container) should set the max size to my images, no?
Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
@Jverc img-responsive is meant for the <img> tag.
<div class="container-fluid">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <img class="portfolio-image img-responsive center-block" src="http://www.coloradocreativedesigns.com/images/portfolio.png">
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <img class="portfolio-image img-responsive center-block" src="https://cdn.colorlib.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/hind-fullscreen-digital-portfolio-theme.jpg">
    </div>
  </div>
</div>
ErezT
@ErezT

Tyler Moeller
@TylerMoeller
You can then do something like this with CSS @Jverc:
.portfolio-image  {
  max-height: 200px;
}
But it's hard to get it right, because both images are different sizes...best to use images that are the same size if possible.
@ErezT Because you define tweeText before you get the text back from the API. When you call an API, it takes time to visit the URL and get the response back.
Joakim Vercaemst
@Jverc
ok; that seemed to work @TylerMoeller thanks a lot!!!

Can map and filter method be used to alter the original array? Or only sort method can?

Hello, i'm building a portfolio. I am not very impressed with how my bootstrap navigation bar looks. I know I can built one using bootstrap or CSS. Is there another way I can built one, knowing i'm still a beginner? If not not which way gives your better customization, bootstrap or CSS?
@ingundela i'm still new and I'm not sure if this will work, but did you try "float-right" instead?
