so I think you should use absolut positioning to get that button where you want over the image
@fortMaximus I used to be a software engineer many many years ago (specialist operating systems and stuff)...but missed out on the whole web dev thing....so FreeCodeCamp is taking me back and forward at the same time. :smile:
@kirbyedy In that example they knew exactly what the parameters were.. In mine, I dont have set sizes
@IanMacMillan You should've mentioned that before :smile: :P I thought you're still a beginner.
@meli94 there is nothing wrong with ur ajax call. to see that its working just make $('#stream').html(data.stream.channel.game); but it will work only for the online channels
great! thank you!
@meli94 so, you will have to write some if logic in there to distinguish between online and offline channels. the console.log(data) will help you see the response object structure both cases online or offline
@fortMaximus hi there
where can I look for node help?
just ask in here for what help do u need
I've set up a package.json, tsconfig.json, and a systemjs.config.js
when I do npm install
I get an error:
network tunneling socket could not be established, cause=connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:80
@Imaginativeone npm install its always looking for package.json. the tsconfig.json and the others don't matter for npm
Has anyone been having issues where the cursor won't allow you to click where you want in the tutorial part of the browser? I have tried chrome/firefox/IE and same result. Then when I get the cursor where I want it, it skips down one line when I start typing.
I have a workaround. If I place the cursor and press spacebar, it skips down one line and then at that point I can place the cursor where I want to. Just curious if anyone else was having this same issue.
