@alpox how do i make the second select-category be dependent on the first select-category so when the user choose option in the first category it will then show specific options in the second category?
alpox
@alpox
@danydin You would have to setup the options of the second category through javascript - newly on every change of the first one

Good morning everyone!
I am having issues with the ( Applied Visual Design: Create Movement Using CSS Animation ) challenge. Any tips with the keyframes?
Gulsvi
@gulsvi
@thodorisanta <button> and <input> are form elements - for submitting data from a page. Neither one should be used for a calculator app, IMO :)

Hey I'm working on the portfolio. How do I create a thumbnail image of a project?
Tony
@FreakishLancer
@GoingAllTheWayUp Yeah, it's a little incomplete. The beta FCC goes into it a little deeper, but you are going to have to google a lot with it.

@h1tag
@girlboss558 you use a screenshot of your project or the embed feature on Codepen

How can I bring the text “Here a short..” to where it is with bootstrap? since what I am doing is not good coding.
Here’s the HTML and CSS for that:
<div class="container">
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-12">
      <h1 class="text-center bold">
  Johann Sebastian Bach
  </h1>
      <div class="text-center"><img src="https://geoffbilbrough.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/picture_5.png" alt="Bach's Logo"></div>
      <h2 id="quote" class="text-center"><em>"The beginning and end of all Music"</em></h2>
      <h3 id="max" class="text-center"><footer>Max Reger</footer></h3>
      <div id="portrait" class="text-center"><img src="https://static1.squarespace.com/static/50b526b5e4b05a1c3507313b/t/50b70d0de4b055c1d63b9e6a/1354173709273/bach1+copy.jpg" alt="Bach Portrait"/>
        </div>
      <h3 style="padding-left:140px">Below is a short timeline of his life:</h3>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>
body {
  margin-top: 60px;
}
em {
  font-weight: lighter;
}
#max {
    font-weight: lighter;
    text-allignment: left;
    text-allignment: center;

@thodorisanta I used buttons for mine. I get what @SkyCoder01 is saying, but for me it was easier because I see it as a collection of buttons. like in real life calculator...

Hey there,
I am creating a background with ' background: radial-gradient(circle, #000000, #042a20 25%, #000000), black;' but it appears that chrome doesn't render it properly.

@Otto-AA in what way? you mean that it is not a totally smooth transition? That always happens with my firefox too. I assume that is the way it works.

@Otto-AA I know what you mean and I get the same thing and apparently it is completely normal. However there seem to be some workarounds:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13151331/smooth-css-gradients
@Otto-AA just google smooth css gradients and you are bound to find a solution that works for you
