@bilu-Blen I tried it separately on notepad by adding bootstrap manually
@bilu-Blen I don't know why its not working for code pen
@bilu-Blen I'm also stuck on the same project

hey guys im getting an error: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. So I guess I need to add a header to my request but i dont remember seeing this error before on my past projects, is it a codepen thing?
@bilu-Blen you need to lookup the bootstrap documentation
there is a whole section on navbars, you probably forgot to add a class somewhere
bilu-Blen
@bilu-Blen
@haseebuchiha did it work on notepad for you? Thanks

@haseebuchiha Sorry, I had a phone call. I haven't built the portfolio yet, I skipped it and did the quote machine, weather, and twitch apps. I can try to help though. I've been studying bootstrap, html, and css
@ArashDai No, not a codepen thing, just an API thing. It depends on the API though - the fix is different for a lot of them.

@SkyCoder01 Should I skip this?

hi, is anyone here who has experience with the twitch.tv API? I am doing it now and I have a slightly annoying problem that a request to https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/channels/(nameOfTheChannel) gives me all the necessary info except the info whether or not the channel is streaming currently, for which I have to make another request to https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/streams/(nameOfTheChannel). Is there a way to get all the necessary information (let's say logo, channel name, channel url and current status in one JSON object?

@gulsvi
@haseebuchiha I did :) you can do all the challenges in any order, it just seemed like a lot of work I wasn't ready for yet

@haseebuchiha Yeah, try the quote machine maybe? It's a lot less HTML/CSS, but uses some JavaScript if you're ready to try it
Haseeb Arshad
@haseebuchiha
@SkyCoder01 Its a little more difficult than what I was expecting as my portfolio
@SkyCoder01 I need advice on weather I should skip this or not
Gulsvi
@gulsvi
@achudoz Unfortunately, you have to make two API calls for every user. It can be combined into one function by doing one getJSON and then another in the callback of the first
