@maxblanch Nice job. The col-xs class doesn't exist in Bootstrap 4, change col-xs-12 to col-12. You may also want to reduce the font size of "Musk's Acheivements" so it fits better on smaller screens. (and fix the spelling :))
so you will have to create an equal empty space around the elements (equal number of free columns to the right and left of the elements) @JordyDew
@fortMaximus I don't understand it anymore. normally, I added all the code to one large column, but the timeline is a row of 12 columns wide...
@JordyDew you still didn't change the Bootstrap link to version 3
anyone else have problems where webpages run fine when loaded from their desktops, but are missing style components when run from codepen?
@collabitron A lot of people accidentally set up their codepen with Bootstrap 4 but have Bootstrap 3 running locally.
Or, they don't set up the stylesheets correctly in codepen which causes CSS settings to not work as expected
@SkyCoder01 all my my libraries use CDNs so as to avoid running libraries locally. From my understanding, if I load the same URL into the codepen under "add extrnal" then it should work
perhaps my issue is that my local CSS file isn't loading, but I thought simply copying and pasting the CSS from my local file to the codepen file would work seamlessly
@collabitron Yes, that should work. You can also just copy / paste everything you have in between your <head> tags to the "Stuff for <head>" section in the Settings for your project
@SkyCoder01 oh interesting. I didn't know that existed. I will do that now. Also, for my local JS and CSS files, which have locally directed links in my HTML, there should not be a problem so long as I copy and paste the contents of those files directly into codepen in the appropriate places, right?
