@gulsvi
@DarDip ScrollSpy highlights the link in your navbar as you scroll down the page. It is for visual effects only. A 404 error makes it sound like a problem with your HTML perhaps. Do you have codepen link to share by chance?
DarDip
@DarDip
yep,
just a second
Gulsvi
@gulsvi
@DarDip HTML bookmark links need a hash mark in front #:
    <li><a href="#section1">About</a></li>
    <li><a href="#section2">Portfolio</a></li>
    <li><a href="#section3">Contact</a></li>
Update your navbar links with that and you won't get any 404 errors
DarDip
@DarDip
oh, thanks a million. :) I think I need to sleep ;)

Roger Castro

@MathematicsCoding

Roger Castro
@castro2487
yes
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
Same
Roger Castro
@castro2487
it's a little frustrating
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
Yeah
I have no idea how to repeat different quotes...
Johnny
@jtan3
@MathematicsCoding you could use Math.random(); that you learned before
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
Where am I supposed to add that?
Johnny
@jtan3
apply it to your quotes
what do you have so far?
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
Well I had two but only after it works..
Johnny
@jtan3
how are you writing the quotes?
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
$(document).ready(function() {
    $("#getMessage").on("click", function(){
      $(".message").html("Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them. - Bruce Lee" );
    });
    });
Do you need to see my html code?
Johnny
@jtan3
is that all you have?
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
I could add more if I know how to repeat different quote..
Johnny
@jtan3
you can put all your quotes in an array and loop through them
Saboor Malik
@MathematicsCoding
Ah
I will try that
So I have to remove that code then?
Just
$(".message").html("Mistakes are always forgivable, if one has the courage to admit them. - Bruce Lee" );
    });
Honestly? I dont where to add for loop... Im new to codepen
Inside these document function?
Johnny
@jtan3
you can just comment your code for later use
