Garo
@Garabed96
has nothing in it lol
Zachary
@Bazill03
@Garabed96 Put your request in a function, not a variable.
Garo
@Garabed96
is that the error?
Gulsvi
@gulsvi
@Garabed96 You're getting a cross origin error. Use your browser's debug console to see the error (Ctrl+Shift+J). When using $.getJSON, the way to work around that issue in most cases is to add callback=? as a parameter to your API URL:
var url = "https://api.darksky.net/forecast/" + api_key + "/" + lat + "," + long + "?callback=?";

Before I pull my hair out, do we go back to our portofolio after we finish the basic training. I’m not feeling how it looks, but it meets all the requirements. My Portfolio

for your API calls
the0ffh

Chasen Bettinger
@chasen-bettinger
@the0ffh okay thank you. Every time I made an API call to OWM I'd get a 404 from codepen

I've had a lot of problems with mysterious 404 on codepen recently. It came out that the codepen is switching to https only.
btw(2) I know it might sound rude (if so - not intended), but check this out :smile:
https://www.google.pl/#q=OWM+api+404+codepen
Chasen Bettinger
@chasen-bettinger

@Bazill03
@corritaylor For sure. You can change it whenever you want. Whenever I finish a project I go back and add it in.

question on the tribute page project
Can someone help me with?
I'm using the <div class="jumbotron"> and it is not showing up as a grey background as I would expect.
