@MuhammedKarim You can do what @Masd925 suggested. Remove float right from the text and just float the image to the left

@MuhammedKarim For a space between the image and text you could add margin-right to the image

@LeeConnelly12
@ingundela You have to host that image somewhere, so upload it to imgur and use the imgur link. You can't use local files on codepen

@janepohorecka
Is anyone here very familiar with javascript?
Gulsvi
@gulsvi
@janepohorecka yes, lots of us are familiar with javascript :) what's your question?
Janina Pohorecki
@janepohorecka
@gulsvi Ah, thank you. Well, my problem is understanding javascript and how to truly use it in a timely, efficient manner. I am looking for reading/resource recommendations to properly learn the language from the bottom up.. Currently I am trying to manipulate SVG bezier curves so that I get a wavy animation. I have tried all day to implement this and all I am left with is a bunch of scribbles connected to my <button> tags. It's pretty frustrating to say the least. https://codepen.io/janepoho/pen/payygM

@gulsvi
@janepohorecka We learn it from the ground up here - it's mostly self guided though. https://freecodecamp.org
As for your waves, this is one of those things where you might consider not using JavaScript - like here: https://codepen.io/andyfitz/pen/akAKdV
As for reading materials, you might want to check out Eloquent JavaScript or You Don't Know JS
Janina Pohorecki
@janepohorecka
@gulsvi yes, I have looked into trying to do it with css, but I want to challenge myself trying to do it with javascript
  • the waves themselves will be far more irregular than this
Gulsvi
@gulsvi
Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with SVG animation in JS @janepohorecka but maybe someone else will be able to help.
Janina Pohorecki
@janepohorecka
@gulsvi it's quite alright! Thank you for the reading recommendations.

@janepohorecka not sure what you're going for or if you're still playing with things - i made a little something - might get you on a track https://s.codepen.io/moT01/pen/OQNRbg - maybe the wrong track not sure
Janina Pohorecki
@janepohorecka
@moT01 he Tom, thank you for reaching out to me. That's not exactly what I am looking for. I want to make waves that pulsate up and down. Ive continued working on it and came up with: https://codepen.io/janepoho/pen/mXPEZV
