@a27-suryansh That is hard to swallow. Are we assuming that string theory holds?
Stephen James
@a27-suryansh You're welcome.
@Masd925 i am not aware of that theory but seems interesting
@sjames1958gm i have made a codepen for that issue and putting the click code under that has created new issue - https://codepen.io/anon/pen/KoRBWp please have a look at it
@sjames1958gm interchaning works for 2-3 clicks then it stops
@sjames1958gm the second click function under the click function is the reason it is not changing the image after 2-3 clicks but if i move the second click function out of the first click function then it doesn't works coz as you said it is unable to reference the element but now what is the solution?
Stephen James
Rather than move around click handlers, let your data determine what happens with a single handler.
  var pics = ["http://www.youloveit.ru/uploads/posts/2013-11/1385565011_youloveit_ru_sobaka_bu02.jpg",
  var pic1ndx = 0;
  var pic2ndx = 1;
  $(".clk_london_map2").on("click", function() {
    pic1ndx = (pic1ndx + 1) % pics.length;
    pic2ndx = (pic2ndx + 1) % pics.length;
Thanks for this @sjames1958gm

@a27-suryansh Sure. Assigning and re-assigning click handlers can get really complex quickly
Thanks for this tip @sjames1958gm

Hi guys. I would like to ensure that my header and footer do not show on the page when a specific url (e.g. www.abc.com?code=123) is visited, the url params are dynamic so I cannot hard code the case. Whats the best way to cater for cases like I've described above?
how do you build a tribute page with no CSS?? Do you only use bootstrap. Should i build the tribute page without css?? please
Liam Docherty
the icon which shows the navbar pages disappears and turns white, when I wanted it to be black.
@darrenfj thanks for the pm

Dardan Demiri
Why is this not passing ? :O
It works as it should
and everything looks good to me !
but it can not pass the fcc test
Anyone any idea why this is happening ?
Dardan Demiri
Oh, I see...
It's a bug: freeCodeCamp/freeCodeCamp#16896
Can i send my tribute page here and get advice/reviews tips??
my tribute page really sucks , how can i make it look cool without cheating.
like copy/paste
@boul35 You could try here or the forum , Project Feedback section. PS. Nothing wrong with cheating so long as you understand the code!!

hey does anyone know linear algebra matrix stuff?

If you download my GitHub repo you can see it looks nothing like what is displayed on my GitHub pages on the safari browser.

I have deleted the repo and updated all the files. However, I'm having no luck, what should I do to fix this?

Locally when hosted my site homepage displays like this

When hosted on gut pages it looks like this

Sorin Ruse
@ldocherty1 check the links to the images.
Sorin Ruse
@ldocherty1 it seems you get an 404 not found error when trying to load your css files
Ken Haduch
@ldocherty1 - still having trouble? I cannot find your github repo to try and download it to see what it looks like... Or at least I'm getting some 404 error when I try to look at https://github.com/ldocherty1/ldocherty1.github.io Maybe you changed it, but there are console errors when I try to access that page?
@DarrenfJ thanks for the reply.. answered some Q's I had :D

If I want to change the colour of my div for 3 seconds and change it back to normal how can I do that using javascipt? I tried this but it isn't working.
        "background-color": "white"
        "background-color": "blue"
    }, 1000);
Claudio Restifo

@Raghav17 You don't need JS to do stuff like this: CSS3 supports animations :)
You can set an animation using keyframes:

/* apply your animation to a class and add a duration */
.my-class {
  animation: NAME-YOUR-ANIMATION 3s

/* my animation definition */
  0%   { background-color: red; }
  50%  { background-color: blue; }
  100% { background-color: red; }

Or you can use transition if you want to react to specifics events (eg change color for 3 seconds after a hover or click)

hi, I am learning Full Stack Web App using Vue.js & Express.js by freeCodeCamp I have a problem when I send post request from client to server in cmd I could see the post request is received but I see this error in client page POST http://localhost:8081/register 404 (Not Found) what is the solution?
Tiago Correia
well you are making a request to a route that's not handled by your server
Ehsan Shadmehri
I have written this code in my server app.js file app.get('/register',function(req,res){ console.log('post comes') res.send({ message:'hello world' }) })
Tiago Correia
get and post are not the same thing :D
