Nov 11 2018 00:34
You can add the "latest" value to many packages - I believe this is package dependant

Nov 11 2018 00:35
hmm, yea i tried that, but then it stays at 'latest' in the package.json
i need it to change to the version i downloaded once installed

i remember when i made a boilerplate a while ago, i just made package.json with dependencies that had no version spec and it jus automatically downloaded latest one and wrote into the value of dependency key, but now its not doing it

Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:50
i saw an alert on my github from an PR you wanted me to QA, I must have missed it when you tagged me the first time
dropdown menus can be kinda tough sometimes
a simple one should be doeable
Lia-Sue-Kim
@Lia-Sue-Kim
Nov 11 2018 23:52
what do you mean
Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:53

Lia-Sue-Kim
@Lia-Sue-Kim
Nov 11 2018 23:53
can you with pure JS create forms and send
Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:53
just that, there's buttons that aren't displayed until a hover - that need to be aligned right,
and so you need to use some html, css and JS
Lia-Sue-Kim
@Lia-Sue-Kim
Nov 11 2018 23:54
I don't know contact a website or send message
Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:54

Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:56

there's a real short set of lessons for jquery on FCC
Lia-Sue-Kim
@Lia-Sue-Kim
Nov 11 2018 23:56
they say frameworks make it easier
Lia-Sue-Kim
@Lia-Sue-Kim
Nov 11 2018 23:57
but what is wrong with JS that makes harder your work
Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:57
not sure what you're asking there
I can do JS fine
real tough to use a framework without knowning JS first
Lia-Sue-Kim
@Lia-Sue-Kim
Nov 11 2018 23:58
If you use a framework does it mean you use less pure of that language
Tom
@moT01
Nov 11 2018 23:59
