@Zephyrum it kinda seems like a forum and there are lots of useful ones using the same account; seen games having nice communities on reddit and I'm starting to get quite a few game devs thanks to reddit nowadays
and even opportunities... there's an Intel game dev competition, AB is pretty much eligible even if broken atm, but deadline is in 8 days, sigh
@cxong still doing some testing; anyway, there's a competition this project is eligible for (ideally if fixed) so I wanted a few details, like how long did it took so far to patch Swine Thug, how much do you usually charge and do you have a day job atm? as the deadline for the competition is in about 8 days, trying to decide if to rush for it or wait for next year...
hard to say because I didn't time myself; maybe half an hour or less per commit, 8 hours so far. I haven't really charged for coding before, my day job is approx. 28 usd per hour equivalent, but considering this is an open source game I don't expect that much. I can probably spend up to 12 hours per week on this project; any more depends on whether I have free time.
Understood, assuming those 12 hours are if you get paid something fair :D
Mhm, quite a bit of time synched into patching up Swine Thug so far; hopefully @Zephyrum here will appreciate playing him eventually, since I recall it was one of his favorite units design wise
When I've all those issues initially, was close to getting cold feet regarding the design of some abilities and wanted to simplify things; but that would have probably made the abilities less interesting and less unique
